Excellent location, beautifully landscaped area. Lots of care has gone into creating this lovely campsite. Friendly staff and lovely bar. Fantastic value for money. We loved it.

Great camping park with a very nice location, near the elevator, close to various hiking routes. The camping is quite cozy and the views around it are beautiful. Very warm staff and fresh bread in the morning if you ask the day before. Also, this camping is located at the end of the road that leads to the elevator, meaning you get to do a nice trip to get there, passing through many great locations and villages. There is a large green area on the bottom of the mountain, perfect spot for some stargazing before sleep if you manage to avoid a cloudy night sky.

Fantastic location for access via cable car to Fuente De. Beautiful bar and reception area with good welfare facilities. The bar and drinks are priced well for the area.

Wonderful camping, very nice owner, they are very strict about noice at night (except for the cows and their bells sometimes), great location next to the funicular. We would recommend!

Great environment and nice authentic feel. Not tight organized, but a relaxed and personal feeling. Lots of trees which provide shade. Cheap but good restaurant with friendly staff. Perfect place if you want to get up early, because it was really quite at 11pm. Oh.. and awesome dogs and cats!

This camping is one if the best I've ever been. Places for tent and campers are enough. In bar you can get local food (very tasty and huge portions) and vine (2€ for one glass). Payment only with cash. Bathrooms and toilet are okay, it's hot water. There is special place for washing dishes and making loundry. And another advantage is that you can pet a dog :)

Quaint and cosy little site in a perfect location for walking. Basic site with small
Pitches. Access is ok but probably a bit nervy in a bigger van, especially getting out as the steep drive is super slippery, even when dry. Owners were charming a friendly to us (do try and speak Spanish though, it’s only polite!). Small bar for campers and you can order bread. Tips - don’t arrive late as it fills up. Nearby parking does NOT allow wild camping in summer months so this is your only option at Fuente De. Book tickets for the cable car in advance as it gets busy. Facilities are basic but fully functional. All the reviews mention the same ‘issues’ but if you go with the knowledge, it’s a lovely site and the ‘issues’ aren’t an issue! . I had a great time. That part of the Picos is unmissable.

Really really enjoyed my night here, it was extremely peaceful and exactly what I was looking for visiting the mountains. It’s essentially a mountain lodge that has been turned into a campsite. Everything was neat and tidy too, grass cut, etc. All the facilities were good, but most of all it was just quiet and peaceful! I suppose it’s still early in the season and would be different in summer but even then I think it attracts hiking people, couples looking for some quiet etc. If I had noisy young children I wouldn’t bring them here as there isn’t a lot for them and tbh it’d ruin the ambience of the place, but great for a father son camping trip or just in general for people looking for a beautiful and quiet spot to stop for the night in the mountains. It’s also v close to the cable car etc if that’s what you’re doing.

Very cute white fluffy dogs as well as clean water and amazing views. Plenty hikes nearby. In late summer make sure to bring enough water on your hikes. We loved it here!

Lovely campsite at the end of the road in the mountains. Well organised with good facilities. Most importantly it is very quiet and peaceful at night. Nice little bar/café with outdoor seating serving local wines. Arrive early in the day during high season as the place gets full by the evening. Takes cash only!

It's not the best camping, but you have to keep in mind where it is placed. The prices are fair, for camping and in bar. It is next to the trekking routes, cableway and sheep pasture. We had a really good time there and rested very well. They have few cute dogs and cats so if you like animals it's a camping for you. I'd really love to come back here.

Really good camping option if you’re around that area hiking. It’s a small and quiet camping surrounded by a stunning green and rocky landscape. The owners are very kind and helpful. Please note that they don’t make reservations, but I would suggest calling beforehand to check availability. Dogs are allowed and there is parking for cars. Every morning at 8:15am they bring fresh bread; you need to order it the day before though.

Good clean facilities. Nice friendly bar. Helpful staff. We had our euopeo 7 m camper down the steep cobbles. No problem although not recommended in the wet especially if front wheel drive. However top field no problem and more space. Stunning countryside. Walks, horse riding and magnificent cable car. This is a camping spot for those who love nature and the outdoors. It is fabulous and wonderful! We loved it Thank you.

The staff not only spoke good english but were the some of the kindest i've ever met - they helped us with routes, the weather, travel arrangements and our equipment. Very beautiful setting with different areas for more privacy if you prefer. The bathroom was well maintained, always with hot water and different sinks to wash clothes, dishes, anything really. The food is lovely, there are even some good vegetarian options. You are expected to be reasonably quiet but this gives a really nice peaceful atmosphere. There are some great routes available from this campsite as well. Fantastic dogs. 7/5.

A lovely campsite situated right at the bottom of the picos de europa. The views of the mountains are an incredible site to wake up to from your van/tent. The staff were really friendly and helpful, special shout-out to Jose and the campsite dog who won our hearts. Fresh bread can be ordered and the bar on site has a great selection of drinks and home cooked food.

Beautiful campsite, magical place. We were in the off season so super quiet. The owner is really a nice guy. We think that the bit difficult road to get there suits the campsite. Would really recommend this place. I could live here haha.

Ridiculously charming campsite in the mountains. There's something magical about it, and it was our favourite of all the campsites we visited in northern Spain. You feel like you're camping in the forest, overlooked by mountains. Facilities were good, the bar/restaurant is rustic and welcoming, and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Plus it's only five minutes walk from the cable car. Some of the pitches are a little small - but this does mean that huge motorhomes and caravans can't get in, which can be a good thing...

One of the best camping places we have been in spain! Surrounded by mountains placed direct at lots of hiking trails this amazing camping place with a nice restaurant and a friendly and helpful owner is a hidden gem! Was no problem to reach it with a sprinter van. Lots of space also for tents. We stayed two nights and will definately come back again.

Very snug, we were in a motorhome, 6.5m long and just fitted. Small camper vans ok, and tents too, but we may have struggled to get out over steep cobbled drive if it were wet. Quite expansive but worth the view alone and close to the cable car, so that's what you are paying for. Friendly helpful staff, bread available and bar too. Hot showers and wash facility. As I say snug but well worth it for one night we stayed there, tranquil and amazing views to wake up to. Beat the other options further down the mountain. Organise us a horse ride for an hour too from site.
