Parador de Fuente Dé

What an absolutely incredible location. The hotel is very comfortable, old school, but partially modernized and very comfortable. The room was quite large - we loved the enclosed balcony overlooking the amazing mountains. Everything in the room was pristinely clean and functional. And the service was great as well - many thanks to Carla at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable!

A beautiful place with a wonderful view of the mountains from all the windows. Each room has an enclosed porch which is wonderful to enjoy the view, regardless of the weather. Many sitting rooms to read, relax or play board games. Additionally, there is a cafeteria (open 11am to 11pm daily) and a restaurant( open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). There are cows nearby to see and many hikes that you can do directly leaving the hotel. Altogether a very pleasant experience.

This hotel is located in a stunning location - the primary reason why we chose it. And we got to enjoy all the benefits. The cable car is 2 minutes walk away and there are a few hiking trails starting near the hotel.

The hotel has some "patina", you can clearly feel the history it carries (I particularly enjoyed the photo series showing the original building and the successive additions), so don't expect a modern and impersonal experience walking down its halls.

Our room had an L shaped balcony letting us enjoy a 270° view of the surroundings. Spacious and comfortable.

Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was ok.

Super nobel and well kept place, breakfast and dinner were amazing, with local specialties and cuisine! Surrounding and views are unplayable!

A truly spectacular hotel. Could not be in a more beautiful setting. The people, rooms, restaurant, and bar were perfect. You have to come here, come to Fuente Dè and stay at the Paradores. We were here in March and the weather was cool and very few people..PERFECT!!

Stunning location with a really good cafeteria where you can sit outside and enjoy the eagles flying above you. We had a ride on the cable car and popped down to the parador for lunch. Excellent service, excellent food and views to die for. No idea why people use the tourist trap cafes at the cable car when this exquisite place exists. Beautiful.

Stunning location and architecture. Rooms are large and comfortable. Our room didn't have the best view on the road but still very quite. Lovely salons. Very good breakfast. Food is tasty and plenty but be prepared for traditional Spanish food.

Can’t beat this if you want to wake up in a beautiful 1928 building perfectly maintained and look out the window at a wall of cliffs. Breakfast was actually pretty good and sheets and towels were amazing. Best tub. Great after hiking.

Really beautiful hotel with a very antique and ancient look in the room. Specially loved how big and spacious the bathrooms were. Rooms were very spacious too and had a warm feeling. Wifi was great all throughout the hotel. All meals were great. Dinner was lovely with the soup. And breakfast had a large variety of options. Definitely the best hotel I stayed at during my 1 month trip around Europe. The view outside the hotel is best when the sun is rising.

Fabulous for the mountains, a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are large and spacious even the standard and most have a view and many have an enclosed balcony.

The restaurant has views over the valley below. The menu has variety and includes many fish dishes. The presentation and taste is good too.

Well worth the stay. Great for outdoor sports and walking distance to the cable car.

The hotel is located in an unbelievably beautiful.place, among the mountains, with absolutely nothing around, except one more hotel and a cable station that takes you to the top of the mountains around. The facilities are great! We were traveling with a dog and were given a room in a separate building with a closed balcony that had a dog bed, a dog treat and a watering bowl. The hotel asks for a 100 euro deposit if you are traveling with a pet. There was some confusion at the check-in as the receptionist tried to argue with us that dogs over 25 kg cannot be accepted although we specifically wrote the age and bread of the dog at the booking. All sorted after a call with a manager. We had a dinner at the hotel and didn't particularly enjoy it but that was a minor insatisfaction. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

A flying visit through on our drive down. Breathtaking drive to the Parador. Typically friendly staff are a great antidote to the French on the ferry. Huge rooms with great views and (I would imagine) excellent hiking. Will come back when we are on a walking holiday.

A wonderful hotel in a superb location with spectacular views. The staff were very friendly and helpful and looked after us very well for our 3 nights stay.

The location is great, and the views are amazing. It is pretty rustic but the rooms are quite big. The breakfast is simply the best I had in a hotel in a long time.

Beautiful place to stay, delicious buffet breakfast, for other meals better food and a better terrace for pre & post diner drinks go across the road to the Hotel Rebeco. The maid who clean the rooms are cheerful & very helpful.

We recently stayed at the Parador in Fuente de in the Pico's de Europa and made it our base for two days as we explored the valley. Every room has stunning views of the mountains from their huge window terraces. The Parador is just next door to the teleferica that can whisk you to the top of the mountain in under four minutes. What a great place to stay! We feel lucky to have stayed here!

Great place to recover after hikes in the mountains, we have had a lovely closed balcony in our room. Fantastic regional food and service.
