BAR-Tienda "Los cigüeños"

There are two bars in this town and this is the one we frequented the most. Ovideo the owner is a bit hard to understand, but super helpful when it comes to get help from the locals. I had met him over Christmas and then came back there a few weeks ago to set up my house there. I couldn’t have done without his connections. I don’t see why people say he’s expensive. I didn’t think so. I wish they served some food other than just bocadillos but that’s better than nothing I guess. Locals gather there every day and get loud. Nothing to worry about that’s just how they talk. I went in there every day to use his WiFi- hint- the other bar doesn’t have any internet. Love that place and can’t wait to return. Go Población de Campos and the people there! Update - the tienda part has a bunch more food now.

I fell off the stairs in front of the store a bit and spilled out all my coffee in the morning, the owner just gave me a new one without even a word. That was kind. Also, it’s really nice to find a coffee shop opening on Sunday morning on the way of Camino.

Buen sitio para paisanos y peregrinos

Bien ubicado en el centro del pueblo a escasos metros del camino de santiago por carretera (Revenga) y en plena ruta del camino tradicional por Villovieco. Bar cafeteria con pequeña tienda de comestibles, amplia terraza en la plaza al pie de la ermita del Socorro. Ambiente tranquilo y buen trato. Suelen tener tortilla de patata.

Un vino ribera muy rico, una mini tienda con prwcios adequados para los peregrinos, no como otras que te sablean como kieren! Y encima con tapita de cacahuetes y jamoncito! Y la gente del bar muy maja la verdad!

Punto de encuentro para los locales de Población y Revenga de Campos.

Un lugar aún vivo, en un entorno maravilloso. Si vas......... jamás olvidarás la experiencia.
