Casa de La Fuente

We have stayed at Casa de la Fuente on many occasions. It provides excellent accommodation with pool, in the heart of the country yet still close to historic Vejer and to the beaches of El Palmar and Conil. Particularly recommended for nature lovers, with a superb range of birds to be viewed in the property's own citrus grove and along the valley of the river Barbate. Hosts Viv and Sarah are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that their guests have a memorable stay.

I’ve visited Casa De la Fuente on several occasions; the standard of accommodation and service is consistently high. The owners go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need and their local knowledge is second to none. The casa is in a beautiful country setting and has it’s own private pool set in an orange grove - what’s not to love? It’s only a short drive to Vejer with its great bars and restaurants and stunning sandy beaches, the closest being El Palmar. I cannot recommend it enough.

I have stayed here on several occasions and always want to go back. I was so sad I couldn’t go and stay there last year (2020). It is a spacious cottage and the attention to detail is incredible, down to every kitchen utensil you would ever need.
It is clean and tidy and as I’ve said well equipped.
The great thing is there is loads of parking and it’s self contained with a private pool that is constantly cleaned.

I would highly recommend this property to chill or explore the local area and a visit to the towns of Jerez (for the Sherry!) and Cadiz (for the shopping and fabulous fish market).
