Mariposa libre

We've had a great time at Mariposa Libre, so much so that we didn't want to leave! We planned to stay for 2 weeks and ended up staying 4. The Dutch hosts (Marcel and Maybritte) are super friendly, easygoing and will help you out when you need it. After four weeks including a wonderful Christmas and New year spend with the guests and hosts, the place felt like a home away from home.

We are traveling with a 2 year old who had a great time playing safely on the premises and loved seeing the horses, cats, sheep and chickens. They also have a service for fresh eggs (from the chickens) and bread in the morning & delicious Dutch snacks 3 nights a week! There's also availability to do your laundry, take a hot shower and use the restroom or chill out in the hot tub outside.

We truly thank you guys for the amazing weeks and if we visit the area again, we'll definitely come back to Mariposa Libre.

Here It Is not about a funky luxury camping Place, to show up go to Marbella !
Here it's about being surrounded of a beautiful landscape, with horses ,sheeps , Cats and most of all Trust, peace, Family!
A big thank you also to beautiful souls Nick and to Francis and family ,Francis Is the best hairdresser ever!
Rarely you meet people like this Place , we had a beautiful Christmas time and tears in our eyes that we must leave.
Thanks for all the warmness and kindness and laughter we had.

Beautiful scenery on the mountains along with horses chickens and other animals. lovely Dutch owners marcel and maybritte 22 euros a night if wanting electric 19 if not
Everything you need and more … fresh bread can be ordered for the morning to youre door and Dutch snacks fresh on a Saturday night can also be ordered
Only a small site enough for 7 motorhome/vans .. so best to call the number on the website first
They are very good hosts perfect for a few days relaxing

Thought we'd try it out, truly a special peaceful place, good facilities and very nice owners, would definitely recommend for peace and quiet

The rooms were clean, very comfortable beds, and the facilities were great (stone oven, Bluetooth speakers, outdoor bed swing, clean pool, etc...) along with the tents overlooking the beautiful views. The hosts were helpful and accommodating and made our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Malaga and want a taste of nature.

Lovely place with lovely owners! We ended up staying 5 nights, enjoying the finca with its pool, nice views and good talks! Marcel and Maybritte are good hosts, who make sure you feel at home.
Visiting malaga is easy, free parking at Plaza Mayor, and take train to town center (15 min).
For the Dutchies: they make a killer 'frikandel speciaal'. Would love to come back again!

Such a nice place to completely relax between the mountains. The owners are very nice and helpful people. Really enjoying our stay here, highly recommended!

Honestly, when you want a really nice old school hospitality camping, come here. The hosts are so kind and open hearted amazing people, you will feel at home at the first day. Highly recommend! Amazing views, all the space your need alround 5 stars. New camper places added also for big rv's no problem. The owners will make an amazing hottub for you upon arrival. Horseback riding for the kids. Bathroom/shower /outdoor kitchen very clean.Fast wifi Super

Ongebruikelijk dat ik tijdens n verblijf al een recensie geef. Dat komt door ons enthousiasme, aanstekelijk door de ontvangst en de vele contacten erna met de eigenaren van deze locatie.
Zo hoor je gasten te ontvangen, blij hartelijk en bereid tot dienstbaarheid.
Er is nog genoeg 'werk onderhanden' maar dit stoort het verblijf niet.
De camperplekken zijn vlekkeloos schoon als ook t beschikbare sanitair en douche. Hiervan wordt uitbreiding in t vooruitzicht gesteld. Waterpunten en loosplek vlakbij.

Ook de gasten zijn een meer dan prettige aanvulling op de gemoedelijke sfeer. Dat is uniek te noemen.
Broodjes- en snack service zijn een duidelijke gat in de markt.

Wát een prettige plek!! We staan hier nu voor de tweede keer in anderhalve week om morgen weer naar huis te gaan. Maybritt en Marcel zijn fijne mensen die hier een bijzondere plek creëren . Bedankt dat we nog n plekje konden krijgen. Groetjes Chris en Jessica Kremers.

Un posto che fa bene al cuore, serenità, semplicità e cortesia regnano in questo posto. Pochi posti x camper rendono ottimale una situazione di relax.
Non è un posto chicchimicchi. Chi vuole apparire meglio che vada altrove. Noi personalmente abbiamo avuto un natale spettacolare con una grigliata organizzata dai proprietari con canti e balli.
Regna il sorriso, correttezza, la gentilezza ed una sana risata.
Grazie a Voi, splendida famiglia di Mariposa Libre che abbiamo avuto una settimana indimenticabilmente bella.
Da nominare assolutamente anche Francis, la parucchiera sul posto... precisa, un Taglio perfetto con tanto sorriso e prezzo incredibilmente conveniente.

Goede camperplekken, waar hard wordt gewerkt aan nieuwe voorzieningen, alles is al aanwezig, wasmachine, droger etc.. Fijne behulpzame eigenaars. 3x per week goed gebakken hollandse snacks en s'morgens vers brood aan de camperdeur. Gekoelde dranken en ijsjes voor nette prijsjes, zelf eerlijk bijhouden wat je gebruikt. Kleinschalig, dus reserveren aanbevolen. Paardenliefhebbers komen hier ook aan hun trekken. Een creatieve kapster is ook beschikbaar. De omgeving is redelijk geschikt om te wandelen en te fietsen. Een klim naar de Moorse ruïne is de moeite waard.

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich, das Camp klein und schön. Der Service auch super.
Eine sehr schöne Erfahrung die wir machen durften.

Wij hebben een heerlijke rustige week gehad op Mariposa Libre waar we gastvrij ontvangen zijn door de nederlandse eigenaren. Je kan als je wilt iedere morgen gebruik maken van de broodjes service. Ook kan je 3 keer in de week genieten van de Hollandse snacks en friet. Het sanitairgebouwtje
Wordt dit jaar vernieuwd en uitgebreid.
De huidige situatie was voor ons prima. Alles wordt dagelijks aantal.keren schoongemaakt. De hottub is ook een aanrader en trouwens het zwembad ook. Het is nu een camper camping en is prima. Dankjulliewel Marcel en Maybritte voor de gastvrijheid. En zeer gemoedelijke sfeer.Groet Jannes en Janet
