Iturriza Taberna

A typical Basque restaurant with excellent pintxos. I tried several different typical snacks. They were all excellent. The service was fast and friendly. Considering the hot day, the cold beer served was a real refreshment. A pleasant stop while exploring the old center of Bilbao.

Best place in Bilbao. The Pinxhos are all amazing. Service is really friendly. We even did a small take away box for our last night, for midnight snacks before to go the airport. I highly recommend

Excellent service. The staff is very friendly and speak English, French and I heard them speaking other languages too. I arrived at around 2pm and it was full! But the waiting time was 5 to 10min and it was totally worthy. The food was great, the music relaxing and the atmosphere was lively. I will definitelly go tomorrow again. The Sangria was perfect. I recommend to sit in the tables outside because it is fresher.

Lovely tapas bar with great food and service. Went on Sunday evening when a lot of the more renowned bars were closed so somewhat stumbled across this one. Proved to be a great find. Great selection of tapas and great quality wines and beers. Recommended

Great experience! The staff don't speak English but they are lovely. The pintxos are between €1.70-2.40 which is standard price. You can order 10 pintxos for €1.70 which is great for groups! I loved the baby squid pintxos

Tasteful pinchos, very attractive decorated! They offer the option of a plate with 10 pinchos -claimed to be the best of their collection- with 15.90 euro.

A small cozy place with lovely ambiance located on a small square in the old part of Bilbao called Casco Viejo.

The two young men behind the bar were friendly and polite. They have a good selection of pinxtos (the Basque version of tapas) for both vegetarian and non vegetarian food lovers. Delicious! Most pinxtos were quite a large portion. Consider a few of these pinxtos equal to a main dish so no need to have dinner afterwards.

When in Basque country, do try delicious pinxtos. You'll find them at every bar 🍸 offering a large variety of flavours, tastes and textures.

I’d be happy if I ate only here the entire time I’m in Bilbao. The sangria rocked my world! The pintxos were fantastic. Great staff. Love it here!!!

Additional comments: Great food and customer service! I had a great time on this restaurant. It just a small tabern, but good for a quick bite of Pinxos! I strongly recommend this place. The view of the Plaza is great as well.

Amazing pintxos...I have been three times in Bilbao and every time I go there to have lunch.

Great lively place for pintxos. It's relatively small, staff is super friendly and their txakoli is really good (if you in general like that kind of wine their had more sourness and acidity). I miss that for sure.

Great pintxos and raciones (larger plates). Reasonable prices given the location. Chorizo en sidra (chorizo in cider) and carrilleras de ternera (veal cheeks) were both tender and delicious.

Awesome pinchos, the cheese croquettes were so good! Good wine, lovely staff & enjoyed sitting inside at the bar as well as in the square, was our favourite place.
