Restaurant Ca l'Estragués

I loved the experience at Ca l’Estragués. Homemade catalan dishes with excellent quality and price!

We were 5 and ordered wine, one embutidos de Rupit to share and then we did the duck with mushrooms, casserole rice and the entrecote. We also did desserts to share, they were all amazing!
We paid approx 22€ per person.

The staff attention was very nice as well.

I definitely recommend having a meal here to live the full Rupit experience :)

A very cosy place. Extraordinary quality local food in a warm ancient place. Service is its best and unpayable views from the main restaurant room. A must-see and taste in the unforgettable town called Rupit. Highly recommended to book before enjoy it.

I really like this restaurant, food was good and fast service, what I like the most is the waiter, he’s so friendly and fun to talk with.

Such a nice family owned restaurant. Since 1805 in the same family, now the 5th and 6th generation serving their guests. You got to go upstairs to enter the restaurant with a lot of character, loved it. West in the back and that is the authentic part. Lunch as just great; A lot of food, nice house wine. We also had the Catalan style toasted bread with garlic, tomato and garlic mayo. Be sure that you all take it to be on the save site! Got explanation about the traditional way of wine drinking and a big smile from everybody.

Amazing food and not expensive, stunning view from the balcony but most of all very attentive staff!

Qué gran descubrimiento, fue súper sorprendente entrar al local y sobretodo ver al gran equipo de cocineras, en una cocina tradicional haciendo platos exquisitos. Enhorabuena a las cocineras por seguir conservando las tradiciones, sois sin duda el alma de éste restaurante.

Cuina tradicional, amb foc de llenya, d'abans (cuina econòmica de ferro), de xup xup, amb els plats abundants a preu molt correcte, servei familiar, atent i molt professional, generació rere generació!
Per començar, Amanida verda molt complerta, torrades amb pernil salat boníssimes, i de segon vedella amb bolets i xai a la brasa. De postres gelat de torró amb ratafia! El poble preciós catalogat com un dels pobles més bonics del món i restaurant molt recomanable i tornarem! Gràcies

Restaurant familiar de cuina cassolana catalana molt recomanable a Rupit. Tenen un menú de 20 euros que inclou dos plats i postre (sense beguda), a més de la carta. Bona relació qualitat-preu; les racions són generoses i el menjar senzill i bo. Recomano la vedella amb bolets. L'espai està situat a un primer pis i és molt agradable, malgrat que el local és un xic sorollós si está ple. El tracte també excel·lent!

Fuimos guiados por las buenas reseñas y la verdad es que nada más por la atención de la dueña al hacer la reserva se veía que íbamos a comer bien y a estar bien atendidos. No se si es un negocio familiar pero lo parece por la atención tan cercana y amable de todo el persnal, que se agradece. La comida estaba riquísima, elaborada con dedicación y con muy buen producto. La parrillada de carne está de locura (es lo que pedí yo), tiernísima, aunque he de decir que como guarnición hubiera preferido patatas o boniato al caliu en vez de patatas fritas, aunque estaban buenas, cuestión de gustos. Los postres estaban a muy alto nivel y el café que sirven también. El ambiente es muy tranquilo y armonioso y te ayuda a disfrutar de la velada.
Repetiremos.

Comida típica catalana, el camarero muy atento y simpático.

Cocina económica que es cocina con fuegos( como las cocinas de pueblo de nuestras abuelas).

Hay menú por 20 euros y bebidas a parte.
