Parador de Benavente

One night stay, easy to park lovely views.Large comfortable room with a nice outside seating area. The evening meal and breakfast both good selection and very nice food. Easy to walk to town. I think the staff on check in and check out could of been more friendly

Called to book accommodation about 20 minutes before I arrived. Easy check in, and lovely comfortable room with a large sitting area and bathroom. I was pretty tired, so after a short stroll around the town and a few glasses of wine in the hotel bar, I headed for a restful sleep. I had originally planned to eat in the restaurant, as the menu looked good. Waking up refreshed, I had a great breakfast before leaving.

We got a great deal and highly recommend. The price does have big fluctuations . The gardens and walk into town is great

Nice hotel with a fabulous breakfast 😋

We had never thought of coming to Benavente but are fans of Paradores and thought we'd try this one.
Our room, on the ground floor, had direct access to the garden and swimming pool, which was lovely and quiet. Despite the cold weather we spent much of the afternoon sitting outside and listening to the birds. Really relaxing. I don't know if it'd be so relaxing once the swimming pool was open, though.
The breakfasts were lovely as always, with hot dishes cooked to order. Got to try the local black pudding, with pisto. Good coffee.
The bar is located in the lower part of the historic tower, and we ate here both evenings. Thanks to our lovely waitress, who I think is called Ana, for being so kind.
We found all the people in Benavente to be very friendly.

Beautiful hotel great location

The reception staff were amazing. The room had a terrace and was right next to the pool.

Great traditional parador with nice large room opening onto the garden with swimming pool and garden bar terrace.
We had a great lunch outside, all served by lovely staff. Bar snacks available in the evening or main restaurant available. Great views of the sunset.

The Parador de Benavente is this charming little town's primary attraction. Built into the remains of an authentic castle, hundred of years old, it retains it's old-school appeal while blending seemlessly into the park that has been built to surround it. This park and the Parador both sit stop a hilltop from which the surrounding fields can bee seen for many miles. It's a fantastic place to stay, eat, explore, or maybe even just take a walk at.

We stopped here for lunch and everything was phenomenal. All of the wait staff were gushing over my 3 year old and giving her treats. I would definitely stop by here again.

Superb Service at the Front Desk and Restaurant. Large and well furnished rooms, very comfortable. Will return. As usual Paradores is an excellent choice.

Excellent Food, wonderful views and ambience. A great place for a long lunch.

First visit and it is lovely. Very ancient and modern at the same time.
