GATEWAY TO INDIA - Restaurante

We decided to go to this restaurant after reading some very good reviews. It was quite close to our hotel Zimbali. We started with a Chardonnay wine. In main course we had Navratan Korma and Dal Tadka with Tandoor Rotis. They were nice enough to serve complimentary veg salad. The food was absolutely delicious, real authentic Indian food in Vera. The prices were very reasonable. All the guests were non Indians except for us. Since the weather was pleasant, everyone was siting outside. The whole ambiance was family oriented. The service was very friendly and homely. The Punjabi owner Mr. Sukhbindar was a great host. He took a great care of us. We had a long chat in our language Hindi. Afterwards when we requested him to call a taxi for us, he just ignored it and instead took out his car and dropped us to our friend's hotel which was a little further away. We have never seen such gesture anywhere in the world. Thanks a lot bro. Go for great food and service in Vera !!

Incredible Indian restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. Honestly I can say that this is the best Indian meal we have had since we moved to Spain. Well worth the hour drive for us to eat here.

We absolutely loved the food and the service! My daughter couldn't get enough of the lovely curries and the cheesy garlic naan!
The owner and his daughter were very friendly and we felt very welcome.
We will be back!

It's our first time here, and we had an excellent meal, I would recommend it to anyone who is an Indian food lover. We will definitely come again the next time we're in Playa Vera.

We have dined here on 3 occasions. Every time greated with a warm friendly welcome. The restaurant is clean tidy and well presented. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

We came by later at night and they were so accommodating! The food was incredible- seriously some of the best Indian food i’ve had. We ordered onion bhaji, paneer pakora, peshwari naan (the best peshwari naan i’ve ever had and I always order this at every Indian restaurant), mango chicken curry (medium spicy), rogan josh curry with chicken, and coconut rice. 10/10 definitely try it out.

The inside of this restaurant is so much better than the outside.. and as for the food, definitely the best curry we have had for ages. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the restaurant was spotlessly clean... very good prices and a very good experience

Just visited this restaurant, group of 4, food was excellent and plentiful, lovely service, we got a free complimentary liqueurs after our meal, will be returning.

OMG just WOW!!!!! We’ve tried them all around this area as we have a home out here. This Indian restaurant absolutely puts the rest to shame. What a meal! And the service was impeccable. We both even agreed that this was in fact the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Just brilliant! Thank you for an outstanding extremely tastey dinner. And go hungry, it’s plentiful. ❤

Great food, attentive staff.
Second visit ( don't live in this location ).
The meal was spicy and really tasty, the best coconut rice I have ever had.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the toilets are spotlessly clean.
The staff ( who all spoke both Spanish and English ), were friendly and attentive.
Can not recommend enough.

Amazing food, service second to none. If you ever come to this area it's a must have visit if you like Indian food.

By far the best Indian food we have eaten anywhere in Spain and probably the UK too.

Standout dishes are the Malai Chicken Tikka, the Dansak, the coconut rice and peshwari naan, although everything else we ate was also excellent, the Jalfrezi was full of flavour and spice, the Patya was something we hadn't tried before but definitely would again. Even the coffee is great!

The Menu del Dia at lunchtime is excellent value for the quality on offer at just €12.95 per person and you can choose any chicken dish (with lamb or prawn available at a small supplement) and any rice dish on the normal menu instead of being given just a couple of options as is the normal offerings elsewhere.

All finished off with quality ice-cream.

We loved it obviously and will return!!

Wow the food was amazing! I love Indian food and not every Indian restaurant has quality chefs. This one definitely has one of the best ones! Staff were very nice too! Thanks for a lovely experience!

Absolutely fantastic food,

We came hear as a table of 11 people,

Every meal was perfectly cooked and presented , and the flavours are perfect.

We are over from the UK for 2 weeks and only found this place with 3 days to go.
