Hotel Aiguaclara

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is in a great part of town away from the touristy hustle and bustle but a close walk to all the action. The balcony was my favorite spot, with incredible views of the town and the sea!
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and we loved the bottle of wine we found in our room on arrival ☺

Highly recommend staying here when you visit Cadaques!

Wonderful stay at the fabulous and stylish Aiguaclara hotel in Begur. The rooms are so stylish whilst being homely and comfortable. We stayed in the suite no. 9 and our teenage kids stayed in the apartment. no complaints about anything. the breakfast is wonderful. Great service and a very relaxed place in the heart of Begur town. I would definitely recommend and return to this wonderful hotel. Great value for money.

We would like to thank the hotel Aiguaclara for this beautiful moment and more particularly the person who welcomed us daily. His kindness, his benevolence made us feel not in a hotel but in a family home and this is rare in a hotel. thanks to her. The decoration is marvelous and chosen with taste. the breakfast on the terrace is very pleasant and plentiful. We can't wait to return to Begur in this place located in the city center. see you soon little handkerchiefs!

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Aiguaclara. The hotel is utterly charming with staff that could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The hotel is located in the lovely town of Begur, a great small town to explore and from which to explore the Costa Brava. Many incredible beaches, other charming towns and great restaurants within 10 minutes. Our room was beautiful, comfortable beds, great amenities. The restaurant is top notch and we had a wonderful dinner and breakfasts. And I so appreciated the hotel's commitment to environmental sustainability. We would go back in a heart beat and stay longer!

A perfect stay. We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment connected to the hotel and loved it. The style of decor and thoughtfulness of the amenities and mini bar were really appreciated. The apartment also has a lovely private terrace that got afternoon sun even in winter. The restaurant seemed to be the most happening place in town with great food and staff, we ate there a couple of times. Overall a brilliant stay, we’ll be back.

Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful / lovely, spacious, very comfortable, and very nicely appointed room. Great breakfast with so many delicious options. Great location for exploring the beautiful coast and beaches, dining, etc. The owner and staff are delightful. This is THE place to stay in Begur! (I've only visited this one time, but cannot imagine anything better.)

If you’re reading this thinking about booking this hotel, don’t think twice and just book it. It’s the best 3 stars hotel anybody could ask for, having vintage and home feel that 5 star hotels don’t.

Location, breakfast, rooms, view, cleanliness, service are all perfect.

The hotel owner even came to check on us.

Very cute boutique hotel with beautiful exterior architecture. The staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating and the owners, if you get the chance to meet them during breakfast time, are smiley and professional. I’d recommend this beautiful spot for anyone!

A beautiful boutique hotel run by a small team that absolutely cares about it's guests. Everything from check in to check out was spot on.

We stayed in an apartment they manage next to the main building and it was gorgeous. The apartment was decorated with very intricate details and well stocked with foods, drinks and you name it.

For people from bustling cities this stay can be the perfect peaceful get away they may be seeking. Loved spending time on the terrace of the apartment.

Would love to some day return for a longer stay.

They also have a very nice restaurant attached where you will be served breakfast and can reserve a table for dinner.

Highly recommend this place.

I had such a lovely stay at Hotel Aiguaclara as the beginning hotel for a 5 day walk along the Catalonia Coast. The hotel was beyond expectations, the staff were wonderful - warm and helpful, the restaurant was something really special. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Begur again and stay in this truly lovely hotel.

We had a great room with patio overlooking the town. The staff was very helpful for our first day in Spain. The adjacent eponymous restaurant had delicious with great recommendations from the staff. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week at the Hotel Aiguaclara, using Begur as our home base for various day trips in the Costa Brava region. It was a a very good decision as the Aiguaclara is a charming old style hotel, nicely restored and upgraded. Our room was large and comfortable and we enjoyed spending time also in the various common areas available to guests. The hotel staff are all kind and helpful and the breakfast is truly outstanding. We will not hesitate to stay at the Aiguaclara on our next trip to the region.

We loved Hotel Aiguaclara and would not hesitate to stay again. The owner and staff were wonderful, the building and rooms were beautiful and clean, and breakfast every day was delicious. The owner upgraded us to a bigger room with a balcony for no reason other than it was available and we were in a smaller room. Such a great hotel.

Charming hotel, very comfortable bed and bath. The person handling check-in was very helpful, giving us maps and advice on where to go for lovely walks and vistas. They extended their hospitality by allowing us to leave our bags at the hotel for a few hours after we checked out.

We had a wonderful time at Aiguaclara. Lovely room, very friendly and welcoming staff. We loved the decoration of the room and the hotel itself. And everything was really clean. On top of that breakfast was also fine. We absolutely recommend this hotel, which is situated in the centre of Begur.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Aiguaclara. Susanna at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! Great breakfast, ideal location to the Begur town center, and our dinner at the restaurant Clara was delicious. They even pulled together a vegetarian menu for us 😊. Our room was clean, comfortable, and stylish. We can’t wait to return!

Really a unique and special place to stay. The hotel is a former house and so it feels intimate and personalized. The staff are super friendly and the decor and art are really tasteful and thought out.

Lovely hotel in the centre of the old town in Begur. Large room, big enough for my wife and I and 16 year old daughter. Cool lounge area with honesty bar, very helpful staff - highly recommended.
