The highlight of our experience was the exceptional service provided by Oscar, our server at the bar. Despite the language barrier, Oscar's friendly demeanor and attentiveness made us feel welcome and well taken care of. His warmth and genuine hospitality added a special touch to our meal.

The food itself was outstanding. The seafood dishes were incredibly fresh and flavorful, showcasing the best of Basque cuisine. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, leaving us thoroughly impressed.

Great Basque restaurant with amazing seafood and top notch service. Food is fresh and very tasty with high quality dishes for a reasonable price. The crab was the best dish we had in all of Bilbao! I would recommend this restaurant to every visitor of Bilbao.

We were looking for some good seafood in Bilbao and we found it. I'm not too familiar with high class resturaunts but I felt like I knew it after this. Even as as an American not knowing the etiquette or how to pronounce a lot of the items on the menu, they were really friendly and understanding. They had menues in English and other languages. Everything tasted fresh, was cooked with care, and had great wine to go with it all.

One of the best meats-chuleton, salads (de tomate con bonito del mar) and mariacos we had ever in Spain. Professional waiters (I always willing to explain with a lot of patients and humor) very nice atmosphere, delicious food, and great selection of wine at fair prices (price varies quality) I definitely recommend this place to everyone that wants to have great food and great wine.

It was such a nice experience we had in Bilbao. Everything was excellent, we enjoyed the food service and ambiance a lot. Their liquor is a must-try after dinner. Highly recommended.

It was a very good dinner we had at Serantes. The staff was very friendly, their English was wonderful and their service correct.

I really wanted to try some seafood in Bilbao, and I entered the restaurant without booking, on my own. I was welcomed and catered to perfectly. There’s a nice team, and the food speaks for itself. Looking forward to returning.

Wow. The food was so flavorful! We had the vegetable stew and lobster rice. I also had a glass of white wine from Txakoli. It was light and easy to drink. Dry enough :)

The lobster was sweet and packed with flavor! The vegetable stew was absolutely delicious. It came on a plate and was more like a side dish than a liquid stew but delicious regardless :)

Every dish is a surprise not only because of the good quality of seafood but also the accurate seasoning! The sauce in the “zamburinas a la plancha” was amazing(recommended by the waiter James.
We ordered a bacalao to share and the chef separated the fish into two plates with beautiful plantings, which is obvious that the boss and waiters cares for every client. Unforgettable experience, love it!

Amazing seafood restaurant. It has a pleasant and luxurious atmosphere. When I came here, the 1st floor barely had any seats for us 5, but since the second floor was void of customers, we were lucky to have a table near the wine deposit.

The food however is quite costly with the cheapest food costing only 8.50 euros. Overall, the food was delicious and appetizing. I enjoyed its oysters even though they were quite solid. My first course, vegetable tempura, was very appetizing, especially its sauce. My second course, baked hake, was so soft that it digested delicately in my esophagus

The service was quite fast and was amazing.

Great experience at the bar - Pedro the bartender led us in the right direction with not only a good wine selection but with the whole fish cooked to perfection - this was probably the best whole fish I've ever had! Tender and flaky, served with a side of potatoes and asparagus that rounded out the dish. I highly recommend it!

Amazing TOMATOS!! You must try these season tomatos with onions !!! The octopus was also very good. Great service. Waiter talked English and was outstandingly friendly ❤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A great place to have fresh seafood. I had the spider crab from the oven and it was delicious. The service was very nice, speaking English.
