Lovely atmosphere, great food and nice treatment. The tuna was amazing, as was the ceviche. My partner had the steak, which was also just perfect. Generous portions too. Highly recommended!

Quaint, quirky little restaurant in Denia with a cosy interior and a tiny outdoor terrace at the rear. We've been a couple of times and the food is excellent. The menu is quite small and is mainly tapas dishes but the food is well presented and delicious

Been here a few times and haven't written a review yet. Very cool, very good food prepared with care. We had the ensalada Judias Verdes (green beans), and two seasonal specials, Pumpkin soup with mushrooms & truffle, and Saute beef with potatoes & vegetables (just the right amount of spices). Tart tatin (apple tart) amazing.

We went to Denia for 10 days and ate here twice. Very nice ambiance, lovely staff and absolutely great food! The tataki de atun and the paella were my favorites. The salads are also very good! If we come back to Denia we will definitely go here again.

Wow! Wonderful restaurant! Food and service are excellent. ... the paella n the pork dishes and all the tapas are outstanding. The bar is the best in Denia. The owner/, proprietress is graceful, charming, and lovely as is the bartender. They treat you like family... Locals abound there, which always says a lot about a place. The best apple pie and Mancheca in Denia. They offer on-the-house appertifs before and after meals as well as quality chocolates ... The decor is chic/antique... Complimented by sensuous, interesting artwork and objects d'art, while the music is both exotic as well as well-known tunes... so you're constantly going oh my God what was that song...? The ambiance is classy and the atmosphere Mediterranean-cool, suave and relaxing to the bone. I love the actual place-positioning of this establishment, geographically speaking, that being in The Old Town (where it actually resides) which is on downward slanting southern-sun exposure hill, right in the middle of Denia, 1 minute walk from nightlife action with the clubs, the Church, Tapas Alley, n the Great Denia Castle, which is literally around the corner, straight up the hill not even 30seconds away while the port is not even 2 minutes... ship masts can be seen not far off - very, very cool. Again, such nice people! You feel like you found your home away from home, a place you always return to time and again, no matter if you live here or visit.

We were on holiday but returning back to England on the Saturday and wanted something Special to compete our holiday.

On our arrival we was greeted straight away.
Yes,,,,, to our joy they did have a free table.
The waiter came and served our drinks, he was very helpful and friendly.
Then a lady came over to greet us she was so helpful in showing my husband and I the menu making us feel so welcomed and at home.Soon we realised the lady was the owner.
The decor is unique, artistic, bohemian, having met the owner Marina the artistic taste and surroundings complement each other. VERY QUIRKY, WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT.
It is a very cosy comfortable environment.
Each course was cooked to perfection. My monkfish was so fresh.
MY husband had seafood stew, which I may add he is very particular about. HE LOVED IT.
WE BOTH RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT HIGHLY.
We think the staff give excellent customer care and customer relations,.
Marina, the owner is a lovely person, brings a smile and radiance to her restaurant.
She also cares that everyone does have a wonderful experience on their visit.

Wonderful food, really excellent combination of quality v price. Exceptional service too from the attentive and knowledgeable team, who also made a non-meat eater very welcome. The eclectic artwork and decor make for a cosy, friendly environment, great for groups of various sizes

This is my most favourite place to be, especially on a Thursday night, the food is fabulous, the owners and staff are so lovely and the music is great. If you are looking for an authentic Spanish welcome and hospitality, this is the place, my husband, friends and family love it,.

The food, the service, the decoration... it all breaths love for food and for what they do.
I cannot enough recommend this place. From the candle in the table, the music that transports you to Cuba, the exquisite taste of food (the curry with shrimps and artichoke... seriously!!! Who can have ever told me this could go together and taste soooo delicious!! 🙂

If your idea of good high quality food is a McDonalds cheese burger, you should take your tacky, low-class self somewhere else. This place is pure Spain. Run by real Spaniards for real Spaniards. The tapas is exquisite, the mood is electric, the decor is insane and the staff are eccentric old hippies who exude pure joy. Don't miss the live music nights, stay till late and watch the place come alive! Best to arrive 9pm or later and expect to stay till after 12. Best place I have eaten in Denia by far and half the price of the more pretentious places.
