Best view of the city from this restaurant. The wine collection is amazing along with great food and even better service.

This is quite possibly the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been to. Amazing view, amazing food.

Set high on a hillside, this restaurant offers a magnificent view of Bilbao as well as delicious classic cuisine and lovely local wines. We started in the wine cellar, enjoying a glass of wine with a "snack" of anchovies. Then we were shown to our table on the main floor, our wine bottle transported on a dumbwaiter. We shared clams and snails, then I had a lovely steak and crispy potatoes while my husband enjoyed crispy fried squid. Even the gluteen free bread was fresh baked and perfect.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

Started the experience selecting wine and eating some starters in the winery. Had lunch in an outdoor terrace looking to the city from above.
The chickpeas with crab were delicious.
As main, we got a grilled fish which was very tasty and served in big portions.
Ended with homemade desserts.
The servants were very professional and paid attention to detail.

The view is spectacular! Make sure to book ahead!
The visit to the wine cellar for the appetizer was great: so many nice wines!
The caracoles was really good, as well as the monkfish. The staff was really friendly

Delicious food and great service - this is a reliable favourite and we go back at least once a year for memorable, seasonal meals served in a wonderful historic house overlooking the city.

Incredible location with view of entire Bilbao valley. Lunch basically starts at 1400 and can carry on until sunset. Food and service excellent and overall reasonably priced. To be remembered!!

Group of 40 guest in Kate Zaharra. Everything very good. Personal service, Aperitiv in the wine cellar, 3 course menu served with love. Great wine list, fantastic Gin and Tonics. Friendly service by Patricio and his staff. We come again.

Amazing lunch or dinner, with the best views you can have over the city. Fresh and top quality ingredients for a wide variety of typical and not so typical Basque delicious dishes accompanied by a top notch personal service.

Today was the second time , we joined the fantastic lunch at Kate Zaharra. Absolutely fresh fish and seefood, also fantastic meet/beef dishes.
Latest you hast a look into the wine cellar you will know that here are only "professionals" are doing a great job!!
For me and my family everytime an absolutely Must, when we are in Bilbao!! Great atmosphere!!!
