Ramón Bilbao

Choices are plentiful at the Ramón Bilbao winery in Haro! There is a large wine shop with an area for tasting. Added bonus: tours are possible and there’s even a restaurant with wine bar. Recommend reserving in advance. Back to the wine shop, the selection of wines and other spirits is vast.

Bodegas Ramón Bilbao has great wine, but this is not the only reason to go. The friendly service and the wonderful food paired with wine made this an excellent four hour experience. Noemi and Chenoa, a mother and daughter team who are working in the bar and restaurant, were amazing. The menu el legado del tiempo is the meal in the photos.

We arrived when the wine bar was closing so we only could try few wines in the lobby (wine shop). I must thank to guy who helped us with tasting samples of the wine (I am not sure with the name - bald head guy called Emanuel?). Anyway the wine here is delicious and you have to try it!

What a fantastic winery! We enjoyed a fantastic tour of the incredible Ramon Bilbao winery in Haro. Our guide, Victor, was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun and it made for a really enjoyable and educational two hours. The winery is very impressive and everything is presented immaculately. The shop offers all the wines individually as well as some fantastic presentation packages, accessories and glassware. The winery tour was fascinating and even included a short film documenting the harvesting process in a small cinema room. The tasting room was just perfect to enjoy sampling the wonderful rioja wines with the added benefit of Victor's explanation and experience.

We had lunch afterwards in the fantastic restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent selection of great food accompanied, of course, by more fantastic RB wines. We thoroughly recommend this winery and the whole experience it offers.

The tour was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing!

Once you enter the Bodega they take you straight to a Virtual 3D area where it takes you through the history of Ramon Bilbao while everyone was arriving. After that they started with the tour around the different areas of the winery lending up to a wine tasting room, Around 30 mins later the tour finished around the shop area.

The staff and tour guide were really knowledgeable and professional. It was a really lovely morning outside the house!

Una experiencia de 10, la visita me ha gustado mucho, las instalaciones y su decoración están muy bien: el pequeño salón donde proyectan, la sala de barricas, esa biblioteca de vinos y el wine bar, tienen un diseño muy amplio y a la vez acogedor. La explicación de nuestra guía Alejandra fue muy buena y respondió a todas las dudas que se nos presentaban, la cata no se queda atrás con una mezcla de vino clásico y otros sabores más retadores. Una gran experiencia.

Alejandra, la guía, nos acompañó durante dos horas por la historia que rodea a las bodegas Ramón Bilbao, tan curiosa como Interesante de conocer. Una historia unida a nuestra historia, a una figura que, aunque de origen bilbaíno, supo plantar la semilla de lo que hoy es el arte vinícola que rodea a La Rioja. Conocimos la evolución del proceso a la hora de hacer vino, pudimos visitar diferentes salas e incluso algunas réplicas de los orígenes de las bodegas. Acabamos con una cata divertida y amena. Sin lugar a duda, merece mucho la pena.

La verdad que tuvimos mucha suerte, ya que eramos las dos únicas personas en la visita, por lo cual fue mucho más personalizada. Las instalaciones estaban cuidadas al detalle me encantaron, y la guía fue súper amable y atenta, me gustó puesto que era cercana y nos explicó bastantes curiosidades. Y de los vinos no hay mucho que decir, hablan por si solos ☺

La visita a la bodega Ramon Bilbao fue simplemente excepcional. Desde el momento en que entré, fui recibido con un trato excelente por parte de Alejandra, su amabilidad y atención al detalle hicieron que me sintiera como un invitado especial. Me guiaron a través del proceso de elaboración del vino con entusiasmo y conocimiento, respondiendo a todas mis preguntas con paciencia. Sin duda, el trato recibido fue uno de los aspectos más destacados de mi visita y me dejó con una impresión duradera.

Bodega Clásica en el centro de Haro, todos sus vinos tienen una excelente relación calidad precio, personal muy amable, recomiendo visitarla y hacer allí una cata, el vino Gran Reserva es exquisito, corte tradicional e inconfundible sabor a madera & vainilla de la larga crianza, una visita recomendada para un primer contacto con el mundo del vino

Increíble la visita de dos horas. Se ha hecho súper corta y amena, así da gusto hacer visitas a una bodega. He aprendido mucho en la visita. Tengo que dar las gracias a Alejandra, visita guiada y súper apoyada por ella. Repetirla mil veces si es con ella. Todo súper adaptado para cualquier situación.

Es todo llamo y para los distinto pisos hay accesos. Todo súper accesible y muy bien explicado.

Alejandra es una máquina, controla todo súper bien y explica cada detalle a la perfección. Resuelve dudas y es una gran guía. Así da gusto

Pienso repetir y si es posible en una visita de las largas.

Preciosa bodega con una bonita y cuidada decoración en la tienda y el Winebar. Hicimos la cata de vinos y quesos y quedamos encantados, muy recomendable.
