This was a very exceptional meal. The food is outstanding, the chef and waiting staff are extremely hospitable, and the price is outrageously cheap for the level of skill and quality of food. Would thoroughly recommend.

WOW! Michelin star coming soon!
What an experience… The chef Ricardo is a fantastic person. The restaurant was full but we tried going at opening time and they make us eat before the reservations.
The service is very attentive but not pretentious at all.
The menu is authentic, local, tasty and various… a fantastic combination of umamy, acid, spicy… simply amazing!
They also have a full list of Asturian wine to empathize the territori.
We have tried the mistery experience: the menu “Asina” has 4 dishes (2 entrees + 1 fish meal + 1 meat meal) plus the dessert for 49€: super worthy.
If you are around you must go!

Spent a really nice evening with friends in this nice restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. In particular I loved the lamb sweetbreads, which were so tasty and literally melting in mouth. Special mention for the chef, who also takes care of talking with customers. We had a nice conversation with him before and after dinner. Definitely a restaurant that I would visit again.

We went as a family of 8 with a young child. We could tell that Chef Ricardo was extremely passionate about food and delivered an amazing 5 course surprise tasting menu for my family. The wine menu was extensive. We didn’t try the wine pairing but they did recommend a bottle of wine to pair with the food regardless. They were also able to accomodate a young child and families. Chef Ricardo personally explained each menu item and made sure that everyone was having a good time. Highly recommend coming to this restaurant in Gijon.

A must go in Gijon if you want to experience great food in a different way! We went for the 4 course surprise menu. And everything was delicious. Chef came over to explain the experience and treated was very nicely. We were able to make a reservation for 13 people in advance! Strongly recommend!

We just came back from Farragua and what an experience. We had the Menu Mangurrino, each dish was absolutely amazing. The iberico tenderloin, the botino and the aubergine were our absolute favorites. Goat cheese icecream was a bold move for a dessert, but played off splendidly. The mangurinno menu is a solid experience, the dishes complement each other very well. The only thing I would have differently is the beef/veal short bread, as it is quite heavy and the rest of the menu is quite fresh. Other than that one small detail, amazing experience and highly reccommend.

It's touching to feel so much passion and skill behind it. Everything was fantastic, from the food, dishes, ambience...the chef serves and advises himself. Very nice!!!!

Chef Ricardo Señoran delivered another fabulous multi-course meal for our party of six. Not only we were impressed by the food but also by the fact that he personally delivered each course to the table to explain what he created. He switched easily from Spanish to English to accommodate all of his guests. The wine sommelier was also attentive and creative with her suggestions for each course. We are always impressed with Farragua and will continue to introduce our foodie friends. Thank you, Chef!

Delicious food, menu changes with seasons. August being tuna season we had delicious bonito, wonderfully presented with great explanation of all the flavors.

We ate dinner here and it was amazing. We got the surprise menu and we were very satisfied with every course. It was creative and extremely well executed. We could tell that there was a lot of technique in the meals. The price was also very good. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and only added more to our experience. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Gijon.

Hard to find the words to express how much I enjoyed my evening there. I didn’t know what to expect, but overwhelmed by Riccardo’s kindness, talent and dedication. I started choosing the « middle menu », and ended up trying everything that was available on offer. It was great talking at length with the chef about his intentions, food full of umami, and wine pairing. Thnaks for his patience. We ended up building a great relationship and i left the place with amazing memories. Well worth a michelin star in my opinion, go there before they get it!

Amazing restaurant!!

The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the food they are serving.

I had a great experience. I ordered a bottle of Ribera wine that was very smooth. I also tried the sardines, trout , and rice with beef tongue. All the dishes were so tasty!!

I can’t recommend this place enough!

I've reviewed many restaurants in my lifetime and it is rare that one has many dishes that make you exhale a sigh of bliss when you taste them. This is one of those rare places - chef Ricardo deserves much praise. As an example, I've never had aubergines with such a perfect consistency and smoky crispness.

The dishes flow harmoniously, the presentation is impecable, the table service is fantastic as Aurora and Mara make sure you are well attended and the wines are amazing.

If you are in Gijón, make sure to book a table ahead of time and prepare yourself for a treat for the ages. The food was so delicious that I couldn't have the patience to photograph any of it.

Loved everything, especially that the place is so small and quiet, the personal attention from the chef. It actually felt like they want to offer a nice experience, which they succeed by all means. All the dishes were explained to us by the chef and each one was fabulous. We will remember the 2 hours spent here. Thank you very much!

This place is amazing! We had made a reservation months in advance. I believe we found out about this place from one of Anthony Bourdain shows. Parking was very challenging and we ended up being 45 minutes late. The staff was great and were always super polite and understanding.
Then the dishes started coming...we had the fixed menu. One dish was better than the next. Just fantastic all across. Sweetbreads were the best I've ever had.
The chef came to talk to us several times and ended up taking pictures with us. Just a great experience.

Very good restaurant, you can eat excellent in a very nice atmosphere. Ricardo's creations of local dishes are fantastic, with a perfect balance of ingredients and a very good wine recommendation. Ricardo comes to every table and we really appreciated the personal contact. He and his team do everything perfectly. Value for money is definitely right. We have been to the restaurant 3 times and would highly recommend it. Go to Farragua! Adrian and Daniela

The food is really good! I was especially happy that they offered vegetarian options and they were very tasty too. The service was excellent, super friendly and they knew the menu/drinks really well (something surprisingly rare nowadays...). Thank you! Highly recommended.

This was my first Michelin Star restaurant and it exceeded my expectations. I came with a non-Spanish speaker and the chef came out to explain in English to include everyone in the experience. We had the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was surprisingly filling and each dish was artfully presented. Our night here will be a dearly cherished memory for life.
