Cortijo los Abedules

Beautiful house, nice patio to have dinner al fresco, and quite convenient swimming pool. House was clean, kitchen OK with everything we needed and rooms big. Location is very good, very close to Cazorla, but being in the middle of olive trees, it is a very quite place, the sky in the night is amazing, full of stars. Owners are quite friendly. Access to the house is well indicated and the path is OK.

Your hosts have created the perfect place for your holiday home. With a choice of accommodation to suit most needs; each apartment has access to the restful gardens where one can unwind and shed the cares of life. There is a swimming pool and an area for sunbathing. Excellent for a relaxing stay, away from it all, yet all is still within easy reach.

The Natural Park of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas is on the doorstep where all the delights of nature, wildlife, scenery and more are at hand. One can see how mountains were formed and are still being sculpted by erosion and by man. One can see vultures circling over your head as in the cartoons of the man lost in the desert, yet not be worried. At the Centro de Interpretación de Madera at Vadillo Castril, one can see how and why this area was created a “maritime province” so far from the sea, followed, in more recent times, by how it facilitated the development of the railways in Spain. Visit the birthplace of the great Rio Guadalquivir and many other "secret" places in the areas not open to the general public by taking one of the 4x4 guided tours. In the courtyard of the castle of Segura de Sierra there are various displays of how life used to be and how they coped in olden times followed by lunch in the village, itself. There are many other interesting villages to explore, all within easy reach.

Yet, as if this were not enough, one is close to two UNESCO World Heritage sites, Baeza and Úbeda both full of history. A little farther away, to the south, in Guadix and its surrounds, one is into Troglodyte country, where houses are carved into the soft clay (which then hardens into a rock-like substance,) to give homes that are cool in summer but warm in winter. To the North there is more to interest one with the Natural Park de Despeñaperros (where they throw dogs) reputed to be where the Christians threw the bodies of the Moors following the battle at Navas de Toloso. The old road that passes through the defile offers some stunning scenery, now without the traffic since the opening of the new road.

There are also several more Natural Parks within easy reach, the Sierra Mágina and the Sierra de Andujar to the west and the northwest respectively, then crossing over into Granada province to the southeast, there are the Sierra de Castril which adjoins the Natural Park of Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas and the Sierra de Baza. There is much, much more to see and to do, all you need is the time. In a couple of months we will be staying there again and are very much looking forward to it.

El lugar está fuera del pueblo de Cazorla pero está muy bien ubicado.
No hacer caso a Google Maps para acceder en coche porque no está bien.
Es muy fácil de llegar, si no consultar a Roger y Diana, que son fabulosos.
Los apartamentos y el lugar sin fantásticos y se puede acceder con mascota.
La piscina ayuda mucho a mitigar el calor y está al lado de los olivos.

Muy recomendable . El cortijo de Los Abedules es un lugar muy acogedor y confortable, ofreciéndonos a mi familia y a mi un buen lugar de descanso y disfrute. Cabe destacar la amabilidad de sus dueños, haciéndonos sentir como si estuviésemos en casa.
Me encantaría repetir ya que nos ha sabido a poco. Muchas gracias por esta bonita experiencia.

La verdad es que nuestra estancia en el Cortijo Los Abedules fue espectacular. Muy amables los dueños, que viven allí, muy atentos para lo que necesites, siendo prudentes. Tienen las casitas/habitaciones muy limpias, recogidas y acogedoras. El lugar de 10, si quieres silencio y tranquilidad. Había más gente y ni nos enteramos. Muy calentitos con el frío que hacía. Así que no pudimos probar la piscina de agua salada. Tendremos que repetir para comprobar el lugar con buen tiempo. Totalmente recomendable. Admiten mascotas, sin ningún problema.

Unos días magníficos. Los dueños son muy amables y atentos a todos. Tienen perro y gatos y a nuestras hijas le encantaron. Un lugar tranquilo y una buena piscina además de sal. Cerca de Cazorla pero alejado lo suficiente para estar muy tranquilos y en el campo. Repetiremos la experiencia.

Sitio fantastico, un poco apartado del centro, pero muy tranquilo. Los anfitriones super atentos, viven en el piso de arriba y cualquier cosa que necesites, alli estan. La piscina muy bien, con hamacas, tambien tienen un solarium con pergola. Con menaje de cocina, toallas y sabanas. El exterior, muy cuidado.

Fuimos toda la familia a pasar unos días a Cazorla y decidimos alojarnos en éstos cortijos. Nosotros reservamos los 3, así que las zonas comunes y piscina eran exclusivamente para nosotros. Los cortijos se encuentran uno al lado del otro y se comunican por el jardín. Los dueños viven justo en la casa de arriba, así que están siempre ahí si necesitas algo.

El cortijo 1: cuenta con una habitación con 2 camas individuales y 2 pequeñitas (tipo litera), un baño completo, salón con cocina y sofá cama.

El cortijo 2: tiene una habitación con cama de matrimonio, un baño completo, cocina integrada en el salón (sin sofá cama).

El cortijo 3: dispone de 3 habitaciones (2 con camas dobles y 1 de matrimonio), cada habitación cuenta con su propio baño, la cocina integrada en el salón (sin sofá cama).

Cada uno de los cortijos tiene de todo: utensilios de cocina, ventiladores en las habitaciones, toallas... Y cada uno cuenta en la zona del jardín con un pequeño porche, con una mesa, sillas y barbacoa.

La piscina es de agua salada y tiene en la zona de arriba un porche con mesa y sillas también.

Hay árboles frutales, plantas, flores... está todo cuidado y muy cómodo. Los dueños son muy simpáticos y agradables. Tienen varios perros y gatos que, a veces, se pasean por las zonas comunes; son muy cariñosos.

Está a unos 10 minutos de Cazorla, es una zona tranquila, con unos cuantos cortijos alrededor. Se escuchan los gallos y los pavos, mucha calma.

Para llegar al río Borosa se tarda 1:30h. aproximadamente.

Todo fenomenal, la casita es muy bonita y acogedora, tienes todo lo que necesitas, está muy bien equipada. El entorno es muy bonito, y tardas 5 minutos en coche en llegar a Cazorla. Los propietarios son muy discretos y educados, Diana es super amable. Agradeceros el detalle de la cuna. Espero volver a veros pronto. Un abrazo

Dueños muy simpáticos y atentos. El entorno es maravilloso. A cinco minutos de Cazorla. El alojamiento está muy bien equipado, la terraza es maravillosa rodeada de plantas, su piscina es una muy buena opción para refrescarte, repetiriamos muchas veces sin dudarlo.

Inmejorable sitio para pasar unos días de tranquilidad al pie del Parque Natural de Cazorla. Los anfitriones muy atentos y amables. El jardin interior con su parra, su pozo y su piscina, hacen que casi no te apetezca visitar los alrededores.

Puedes tener el perro en el patio .

Tranquilidad, limpieza y poder estar nuestras vacaciones con nuestra perrita.Está apartada de Cazorla en plena naturaleza y la paz que se respira por la noche.Los dueños son encantadores y muy serviciales

Alojamiento muy comodo y tranquilo con una buena piscina de agua salada. Unas instalaciones muy cuidadas. He pasado dos dias junto a mi mascota muy agusto. Volvere sin dudarlo. Gracias a los anfitriones que son super amables.

Un sitio tranquilo cerca de Cazorla, limpio y cómodo. Pudimos disfrutar de la piscina que es para todos los huespedes y del patio.

Maravilloso!! Volveremos!! Roger y Diana son grandes personas y nos hicieron sentir como en casa y en familia. Todo muy limpio, no nos falto de nada!

Cortijo fantástico cercano a Cazorla. Los propietarios son un encanto. Lugar ideal para relajarse.
