RESTAURANTE ERA CANAULA

We absolutely loved this adorable restaurant!!! We came here yesterday for my husbands birthday lunch and it was the perfect place to celebrate his birthday. The owner is so so nice and gave us a little tour of the restaurant and told us all about the history of the building and the street itself. It is on one of the only standing streets with the original cobblestones from over 400 years ago. We are vegetarian so our options were a little more limited (it’s always like this for us though) BUT the food we had was absolutely amazing! We had the cheese platter, olives and some tomato toast and I genuinely mean when I say that it was the best cheese platter I’ve ever had. He hand selects the cheeses himself and curates a beautiful cheeseboard with grapes and walnuts, fresh basil, dates and other fruit. Fresh bread from the oven, amazing olives and freshly grated tomatoes from the garden for the toast. There was so much attention to detail. Living in Spain we have had cheese, olives and tomato toast plenty of times but this truly was some of the best we’ve had! I am sure his selection of meat and fish are also incredible! If you’re in Viehla I can 100% recommend to go here! You won’t regret it 😊 we’ll be back!

Such lovely people! They made us very welcome. I wish my Spanish was better but they were so helpful and patient explaining the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Looking forward to going back again tonight.

Estuvimos encantados. La relación calidad/precio es excepcional, se agradece comer comida de casera de calidad a un precio razonable. El costillar y la tarta de queso nos encantaron. El lugar bonito, tranquilo y acogedor. Un acierto

Local escondido en las callejuelas de Vielha. Buen servicio y simpatía por parte del dueño, ambiente cálido y relajante. Espectacular tabla de quesos. Altamente recomendable para tomar unos vinos y unas tapas.

Lugar escondido en Vielha que merece la pena visitar. Hemos comido un paté, la ensadadilla con ventresca y el costillar. Espectacular todo, el paté y el costillar sobretodo.
Trato muy cercano y amable por parte de Joseba que hoy cumplía años.
Si volvemos, repetiremos!

Atencion inmejorable! El dueño és un señor encantador, apasionado por su cocina y sus productos.
El restaurante tiene una ampla opciones de vinos y quesos locales, platos con cualidad y precios muy justo.

Cinco estrellas y me quedo corta.Bravo Joseba y su amabilidad, por hacernos sentir como en casa, por sus charlas y recomendaciones sobre vinos y vermuts...y el rabo de toro excelente.Volveremos seguro, es un grande!

Restaurante céntrico pero un pelín alejado del bullicio de Vielha, con una decoración ecléctica pero encantadora, íntimo y tranquilo, con una carta relativamente variada. Personal muy amable y atento y comida sabrosa. Muy recomendable.

Muy buena calidad precio. Sitio de tapas ricas y cantidad. El matrimonio de anchoas y boquerones buenísimos. Las tostas también. Las aceitunas aliñadas ideales para picar. En la foto la tosta de cabrales con sidra, y manzana.

Brutal!! Hemos comido súper bien, la terraza es una MARAVILLA, Joseba y Carina son encantadores y hemos pasado un rato genial. Si volvemos a Vielha, vendremos seguro!!!

Poco conocido y súper recomendable. Tiene un producto difícil de encontrar. Los mejores callos que he tomado en mi vida y unas Anchoas de Santoña doble cero mariposa!!
