We started our visit to Madrid by taking a paella cooking class. Although I make a pretty good one (or thought I did!) I learned the proper technique and ingredients. Then we asked around for the best paella restaurant, friends strongly recommended Casa de Valencia. We ordered the seafood paella, it was fantastic and included crab, crayfish, shrimp and mussels. A feast that we thoroughly enjoyed. For a starter we ordered the anchovies with toast and tomato spread, this was sublime, an incredible flavour combination. Along with our dessert orders they brought a complimentary plate of dried fruits and a sweet wine, a nice touch! Add to this the very professional and friendly service (thank you Sergio!) this may have been our best meal in the month we spent in Madrid.

The first place we stopped by after a 14 hour flight! We were treated with original Spanish food and wine! We love all we ordered especially Arroz Caldoso De Rape. I personally love Pulpo Con Cachelos and Paella. The vibe was great with enthusiastic services of the staff. We could not ask for more! Will definitely come back!

This was our second visit here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Rice cooked and flavoured to perfection. Friendly and attentive staff as well. Looking forward to going back!

This is a top place in Madrid for having the traditional Paella.
The location is aside from the busy and crowded area, and from the street the place might mislead, however when going inside the huge The place ball room like reveals.
The famous dish takes 30 minutes to be ready, so be strong and try skipping the served bread.
The prices are quite high - need to try this once, defintally worth it.

Superb traditional Spanish Restaurant. High class and popular with long queues to get in. You must book. Our risotto was superb with the fish served separately with small onions and potatoes. Highly recommended.

What a great experience when trying the real paella valenciana ». Tasty dish with just chicken and rabbit and not rhe « arroz con mariscos » as all around the world the paella seems to be. Nice venue with personal really sympathic. Great attention from people of staff. I recommend it perfectly!

Best Paella in Madrid. Classic style restaurant, in Madrid’s top location, Paseo Pintor Rosales, in front of Parque del Oeste. Access through stairs to the upper floor where the restaurant is located. Wooden walls and Classic design. Great service with english speaking staff. Best seafood and rices with a lot of different choices. Fair prices, but not cheap. Worth a visit if looking for Paella in Madrid. They have an enormous private area for bigger groups or special celebrations. Can only recommend this place.

Excellent rice dishes but also seafood. Very reasonably priced. The service is excellent. The young waiters were friendly and patient with my broken Spanish. The manager speaks excellent English and was very helpful with my selections. Most importantly they can make rice dishes for one person unlike many other restaurants that require min of 2 persons. I was alone on a business trip and they made it possible for me to try their delicious arroz valenciana. It was so good - I forgot to take a photo. Highly recommend the restaurant.

The place looks amazing. The food was remarkbly tasty, from the appetizers till the dessert. I felt like I was in Valencia.

The tuna fish in the appetizers menu is recommended.

This place is very nice, I was just looking for some restaurants in that neighborhood that serve paella. Our waiter was amazing, and i believe there was also a manager of shift, really nice guys, doing their job really good. I had tinto de verano (huge glass) and paella and it was amazing ✨

What can I say - when you want Paella, you come here and you order Paella Valenciana. The rabbit and mussels paella is a classic. Prices are decent, especially for the quality of the meal.

This place is considered to be the best and most authentic paella in Madrid. There are several different types. I had the seafood with the shells already removed. I also had the green beans and ham as an appetizer. It gave me exactly what I was looking for. Great place.

it was great. Service is good and the restaurant is pretty old school. If you want real paella and don’t have time to go to Valencia, this is the place!

Let’s talk about the 3€ bread. It’s not for the bread. It’s for the service and it’s clearly indicated on the menu. For the 3€ you get bread, olives, dumplings PLUS they bring dried fruit and sweet wine at the end of the meal. That’s pretty good for 3€ per person. They also do table side service for your meals.
