Bar Veis Restaurante

One of my favorite rest stops on the Camino so far. Friendly owners, great wine and empanadas, exceptionally peaceful setting great for watching peregrinos pass by, and some canine love from Dante and Veis.

Excellent food and service. The place is beautiful. Just one minute from the motorway. Much better than the ordinary road service.

Had good breakfast of eggs and sausages. Friendly service. Friendly dog 🐕 too! Pleasant stop towards O Cebreiro.

Superb burger and vino tinto after a hard day’s walking!

Wonderful place! We stopped for a beer at the end of a day on the Camino. The kind owners offered to cook us dinner later that night as we were staying in town in the off season. Delicious burger + friendly staff and a serene location.

Owners are friendly and run a honest restaurant in the Camino de Santiago. Nice portion sizes, ample terrace to sit under the trees and a friendly dog as company. Highly recommended.

Fantastic! Very welcoming and hospitable. Food is great, beer is cold, what more can you ask for?! Right on the side of the Camino - great place to stop before going further - but if you are staying nearby, it would be my choice for sure. Muchas Gracias!

Totally fresh tortilla with bread drizzled in olive oil. Excellent coffee. Friendly staff and dog.

Con una excelente terraza y sobre todo la cariñosa y afable atención de Vero, hicieron que mi parada o alto en el Camino fuera muy satisfactoria.
Las empanadillas estaban muy ricas.

Estaban cerrados y aún así abrieron para darnos de comer un espectacular embutido del bierzo y unas hamburguesas que estaban para repetir. Muy agradables en el servicio. Hemos comido de 10.

Por supuesto una parada obligada y aún más sí vais acompañados con vuestra fiel mascota. Decir qué el servicio espectacular, esa tabla de chacina acompañada de una 1906 después de tantos kilómetros y tengas está acogida. Una pareja súper amable sintiéndote cómo en casa, y por su puesto lo qué más admiro es qué sí tratan bien a mí perrita...ya lo dice todo. Muy muy recomendable.

Lugar perfecto para parar cuando se viaja con niños, con espacio al aire libre para estirar las piernas, pero resguardados de la carretera. Las mesas de fuera están frescas incluso en pleno verano por la sombra y el aire del río. Comida muy rica y abundante a un precio fantástico.
