Pension Aida

Paul (the owner) was the nicest! He was very talkative and welcoming from the very beginning, remembered our names and drew on the map the best restaurants and places to visit. He was very thoughtful and allowed us even to leave our stuff after check out so we can go for breakfast and take our last walk. The rooms were clean, they had everything you might need, and even a small gift — jelly beans! The bed was clean and comfortable. It had toilet paper and enough towels for 4 people. The location was close to bus station and the city center as well as the beach. If i’ll come back to San Sebastian I will definitely stay there and would advise to anyone who wants. Also for surfing check out Mundaka Barra Surf School, it’s close to San Sebastian(and better than surf school Bera Bera there)

Stayed here in early July while walking the Camino de Santiago. The place is excellent. Clean, modern, good value overall. Paulo was a gracious and accommodating host and a woman at the front desk was very kind as well. Had we known we were staying an additional night we definitely would have booked it again! I highly recommend this establishment. Book ahead of time, it can fill up quickly, which is a good thing as they seem like genuine good people as well.

Fantastic choice if you are staying in San Sebastián! Paul, the receptionist, made me feel welcome from the first moment and gave me so many secret tips of what to see in the city and its surroundings, where to go for a drink and what to eat that I am 100% sure that I will have to come back! Also, the room was lovely, very clean and at a really great price. ¡Eskerrik asko!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Everyone greets you and welcomes you. When we were shown to our room, it looked nice but had a strong smell because it had just been re-painted and redone. I asked for an air freshener to help, and instead they upgraded us to a larger, more expensive room! It was very kind of them to do that and to make our stay so comfortable. It’s very close to beaches and the old area without being at the centre of the noise. Thank you to everyone for a great stay!

We had the best time in Pensión Aida. Such a friendly service and the rooms were cosy and clean. It take just a very few minutos tonget to the centre of San Sebastián and only three minutes from the beach.

Incredibly friendly and welcoming. The price is high & unfortunately due to the train quite noisy if you’re a light sleeper. 5 stars for such a wonderful welcome!

Small but cozy place, staffed with very friendly persons. Well located in Gros, near train and bus station. Easy walking access to the Old Town and other places of interest.

I've travelled all over the world . And this is a very nice hostel , looks like a hotel , very comfortable , nice rooms with tv, full bathroom , wifi etc...
And not only that , the staff is always here to help you .
And they will do anything to make you feel at ease . The best

Un sitio céntrico a muy buen precio, la habitación es perfecta.. y el trato muy familiar! La verdad que nada que envidiar q ningún hotel! Te lo recomiendo si vas a quedarte en el centro de san Sebastián🍀

4 Notti a San Sebastian. Molto pulito. Rifanno la camera ogni giorno. Parcheggio convenzionato con un’autorimessa a 5 minuti a piedi. Posizione abbastanza centrale.

Limpia, personal muy atento, habitación completa y cómoda, en pleno Gros, accesible a todo y se preocupan por q conozcas la ciudad dándote consejos y lugares donde visitar

Un sitio donde volveré sin duda calidad precio, donde el trato desde el minuto uno fue excelente, la zona donde estaba situada para comprar para comer para aparcar muy buena y sobre todo la comodidad de la habitación es bastante amplia donde nos hemos encontrado como en nuestra casa tiene de todo una mini cocina para poder prepararte cuál quiera de las cosas, las habitación es muy limpia y cuando salíamos de la pensión al volver siempre estaba el calefactor encendido y siempre nos encontrábamos la habitación muy calentita, cuál quiere problema o duda que tenía me la solucionaba al instante os puedo asegurar que no tendréis ninguna queja de esta pensión

Pension muy acogedora y muy limpia. Me hospedé en la habitación 6 (habitación individual). El servicio fue espléndido. Paul el señor que me atendió en la recepción muy agradable y atento, y sus compañeros más de lo mismo.

En mayo 2023 pasamos 4 noches en este alojamiento, fueron encantadores, disfrutamos de un estudio, superior a la habitación doble que habíamos reservado, por cortesía del establecimiento.
Está a un paso de la zona centro de San Sebastián, rodeado de todo lo que se puede necesitar.
La estación de tren, se encuentra a 5 minutos caminando.
Las playas a un paso también.
Sin duda recomendable en todos los aspectos.
