Surprisingly really good place. We usually do not like to go to many touristic places.
We tried a couple of pastries and the famous cheesecake. It was super good. We would only not recommend a classic croissant which was not good.
Overall great place with wide variety of pastries.

A dessert shop in San Sebastian which has the original recipe of panchineta. A pastry filo filled with cream.Not so sweet but very very good. Also they have the traditional burnt Basque Cheesecake. It is tasty and mild, not so strong flavour of cheese. Also they have many other desserts to try, the most with cream.

The oldest pastry around and the items were simply a delight to look at as well as to savour! We ordered the panchitteria and it was mouth watering. It closes at 8:30pm though so go grab your sweets early.

Super sweet pastry shop that has been in the family since 1886, according to their web site. Really nice and clean atmosphere. We came in for Basque cheesecake but after seeing all the pastries in their display cases, we had to get several more things. Great place and very tasty pastries.

This is such a nice patisserie with very good collection of pastries. We tried San Sebastian cheesecake and also Panchineta, which was a recommendation of the lady. They were both awesome and light. You know what I mean… they were not like those desserts which burn your throat with the taste of sugar. I loved these both.

Boutique patisserie of local Donostia sweets. As the locals were queuing to get in, I thought it best to join them. Great service, beautifully wrapped fresh local gourmet pastries, chocolate and biscuits. Good spot to pick up a few treats in advance of island trip.

Warm friendly service and locals purchasing whole cheesecakes - so you know you are in a good spot. My husband got a slice of basque cheesecake and it was delicious. The service was very friendly, and the shop had a great range of yummy pastries and cakes.

We ordered a Pastel Vasco and a Dark Chocolate with Hazelnut Bark. Both were delicious! And the old-fashioned packaging with ribbon is so charming!

Great bakery! Lots of pastries and croissants with Nutella in them! Yum! Highly recommend it.

Had their original invention, panchineta. Delicious. It’s a puff pastry with custard filling and almond crunch on top.
No seats, though.

This pastelería deserves a higher average rating - this bakery has turned out higher quality pastries than several more famous ones we've been to in different countries. We especially love their cream filled bombolones, which they call bombas. The staff are friendly and some of them speak English.
