La Bodega del Tesoro (visitas bodega)

Everything Jose does is exceptional. From his tours to his winery, it was all amazing. At this bodega, I had the best wine I have ever had. It was outstanding. Jose also cooked us some amazing local food to enjoy with the wine. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is outstanding!

My wife and I have been on dozens of wine tasting trips and this was by far the best. We did the 4 tastings and lunch option, which culminated at José's winery where he and his wife treated us to a fantastic lunch, tour of their beautifully restored winery, and of course more wine!

We loved spending time here, it is so special how Jose has rehabbed the wine cave and winery. Beautiful, fun time!

We booked an wine tour with Jose. Great tour to learn about the region, landscape and wines of this area. Over the past few years, we have fallen in love with Rioja and Tempranillo wines. So, we had to visit the region. The wines, food and education was superb. Touring Bodegas del Teroso was a walk back in time. Fascinating! Something to remember for sure. Don’t miss this gem!

We had the most unforgettable wine experience with Jose. His wine tour brought us to the most exclusive wineries and vineyards in the heart of Rioja. Jose is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and we learned so much from the tour. He brought us to his beautifully restored bodega where he keeps wine making traditions alive. His lovely wife served the most delicious traditional cuisine in a restored wine barrel. This was our favorite and most memorable meal in Spain.

Additionally we brought home some olive oil and wines. Now we need to figure out how to order more to the states ☺. Thank you Jose and family for this wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back to visit.

A wonderful, welcoming family business that is passionate about offering the best of La Rioja and its produce. They have recently restored 3 spectacular spaces in Cuzcurrita in Rioja Alta. The renovations have been carried out respecting the buildings' history and every corner is full of charm and care. Excellent wines, snacks but more than anything lovely people. They are just putting the finishing touches to their winebar and terrace giving us a perfect excuse to visit again soon.

Jose is the perfect host and his wine tour of the Rioja Valley was exceptional. His knowledge of the wine industry in Northern Spain was extensive and very interesting to learn about, particularly the very small family plots that are dotted throughout the region. The highlight of the tour without doubt however was the visit to his own wine cave, La Bodega del Tesoro. Here we tasted his wines in conjunction with a truly special local lunch prepared by Jose, including jamon, hone grown tomatoes and potato and chorizo soup made by his wife that morning. Little lamb cutlets and fresh chorizo grilled over the open fire (lit with vine cuttings) topped of a truly perfect day . The vision Jose has realised by restoring this original old barrel room and wine cave across the road is indeed momentous. Gracias Jose. We wish you well for all your future ventures. Sitio encantador! Lo mismo que Yosune, un amor. Puedes venir a tomar un vino como reservar para cenar.

Todo un descubrimiento, el lugar, los vinos, la comida y como no los propietarios te hacen sentir parte de la familia. Hicimos cata, visita y disfrutamos del menú gastronómico, ninguna pega todo de 10.Los vinos todos a la altura de grandes bodegas con mucho nombre. La visita en todo momento con muchas explicaciones sin prisa por dartelas, la bodega esta recuperada con mucho cariño y el video que te ponen me gusto mucho. La cena fue para no olvidar, comida tradicional bien cocinada y encima en abundancia. A José y Josune solo os puedo desear mucha suerte con vuestro proyecto, da gusto encontrarse gente como vosotros que disfruta de lo suyo y te hacen participe de ello. La única pega son los 350 kilómetros que nos separan, pero estar seguros que volveremos a vernos.

Si lo que vas buscando es la típica visita a una bodega y beber los vinos que puedes comprar en cualquier sitio...en esta bodega no lo vas a encontrar. La Bodega del Tesoro es otra cosa. Es compartir con José y Josune (propietarios) su pasión por Rioja, por sus vinos apostando por pequeños productores, por recuperar las bodegas olvidadas de pueblos cada vez más vacíos. Una charla con desconocidos que al ratito son amigos, en una bodega restaurada de manera preciosa bebiendo vino y con una cena casera y rica.
No dejéis de visitarla. Cuando te despides ya estás deseando repetir.

Es en estos lugares donde la pasión y el buen hacer aún sobreviven…increíble el proyecto de José Ramón y Josune, que han restaurado esta bodega de 1881, conservando su esencia y su magia. No solo transmiten amabilidad desde el primer momento, sino que aún más importante si cabe: aportan valor al patrimonio que se está perdiendo en los barrios de bodegas.

Para ello nos explicaron cómo funciona Rioja (que no La Rioja 😉) y su historia, ¡y aprendimos muchísimo!.
Nosotros mismos sabemos que nos falta mucha cultura de vino, pero no hace falta para entender lo más destacable de este lugar: la recuperación del patrimonio vitivinícola, el video homenaje a los antiguos trabajadores propietarios de la bodega, que nos emocionó muchísimo, y el apoyo a los pequeños productores de Rioja, tan necesario.

Lo dicho, un lugar maravilloso para descubrir nuevos vinos y compartirlos en buena compañía.
Y súper importante: la tarta de queso con la que Josune nos sorprendió al final logró que me volviera con una sonrisa gigante a Madrid 😊

Increíble el trato de José Ramón y Josune!!! Han restaurado con mucho mimo y detalle una bodega tradicional y la visita que ofrecen es diferente al del resto de bodegas de la zona. Ofrecen una cata de vinos con unos caldos muy singulares, un aceite delicioso y un entorno íntimo pero precioso. Puedes hacer una visita con degustación de vinos, o también con picoteo e incluso comida dentro de una barrica. Disponen de un wine bar con una terraza fabulosa para ir simplemente a degustar unos vinos. Sin duda volveremos!!!

Fui guiada por las opiniones de google, y sinceramente, se quedan cortas. José y Josune son encantadores y se nota que disfrutan con lo que hacen. El lugar es espectacular, y las explicaciones de José sobre Rioja y la tradición del vino son muy clarificadoras. La cena y el entorno son la guinda del pastel.

Excelente lugar y los dueños un encanto, además de atentos y amables.

Comida y bebida inmejorable, nos aconsejaron varios vinos de la zona y platos caseros y todos fueron un éxito. Volveremos sin duda.

El pasado sábado, pasamos por Cuzcurrita y nos encontramos con La Bodega del Tesoro, un acierto.
Fue cruzar la puerta y disfrutar de sus instalaciones, sus vinos y la compañía que tuvimos esa tarde.

Hemos compartido este fin d semana una experiencia como seguro hay pocas,Josune y Jose Ramón nos acogieron en La Bodega Del Tesoro en Cuzcurrita para darnos una clase magistral d la D.O. Rioja y el entorno d los viñedos q la componen. En un marco incomparable,en una vieja pero espectacular bodega d 1881 reformada y sobre todo respetada como gran patrimonio q es para dar paso a un wine bar y una zona d comidas cenas y aperitivos.
Mil gracias x vuestra labor d recuperación x vuestros vinos y x esa mano en la cocina d buena comida casera.

José ist ein super Guide - sehr spontan buchbar und super kompetent. Wir haben ein Nachmittag zuvor gebucht und schon am nächsten Tag eine Tour für den ganzen Tag bekommen. Das beste ist aber sein eigener Weinkeller und der lunch dort, gemeinsam mit seiner Frau bereiten sie ein super Essen aus regionalen Zutaten. Der Wein ist köstlich, das Ambiente wunderschön und authentisch. Wer ein individuelle und persönliche Tour sucht, der ist hier richtig. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen.
