Calpe is a nicely balanced town. It has two long Sandy beaches, a variety of restaurants, supermarkets and other services. It is a larger town than some other popular destinations on the Costa Blanca but not crowded and busy like Benidorm. There still exists a lot of Spanish culture and presence here, unlike some other places that are mainly expat communities. We’ve visited other places but we still prefer Calpe.

Beautiful place. Lovely beach and promenade. Plenty of restaurants at reasonable prices. Punjab Indian was excellent, definitely worth a visit. Will be definitely coming back soon.👍😬

Really cool place. I’ve been there when I was kid and returned yesterday with my girlfriend and parents. Good memories. We saw wild cats near the sea 🐱

Good beach but does get crowded. Nice shops and cafes. Good promenade for walking and if you're feeling energetic you can climb the famous Ifach mount next to beach. Also a lovely inland salt lake on the other side of town. Loved the circular walk and sight of wild flamingos.

Large and spacy beaches, lot's of Villas for rent, best in partida Ortenbach. It's the hill near to city center and has sun all year long. Evitate Maryville, great views but little sun and moisture (north).

Went off peak time, lovely beech, had some lunch at a bar in the beach . Lovely. Would recommend.

Calpe or Calp is a coastal municipality located in the comarca of Marina Alta, in the province of Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. It has an area of 23.5 km² and a population density of 990 inhabitants per square kilometre. The city lies at the foot of the Penyal d'Ifac Natural Park.
