The whole experience could be described as passion for brunch. The simplicity of the idea is genius. From beginning to end Bastard makes it easy for you. You are greet then let you sit where you feel like it. The menu is rich in options, but you are here for brunch, so instead of myriad alternatives, a simple yet “you can’t get it wrong whatever you choose” system: it’s a combo with coffee, cold beverage & dessert in it. And you can just pay the moment you want from your phone without even asking for the bill.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this coffee shop and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant, creating the perfect setting for a casual catch-up or a serious work session.

The food was a standout highlight. Everything we ordered was fresh and bursting with flavor, making every bite an absolute delight. It’s rare to find a place that consistently serves delicious food.

However, what truly set this visit apart was the exceptional service we received, especially from our server, Gregorio. His attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and professional service made our dining experience truly memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and his recommendations were spot on.

I can’t recommend this spot enough. Whether you’re looking for a place to refuel with some top-notch food or just a spot to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee, this is the place to be. A big thank you to Gregorio and the rest of the staff for making our visit so enjoyable!

It’s a hot spot for young people who like to enjoy coffee and cake. It’s on very beautiful location and atmosphere is nice. They have very famous different types of croissants and cake. I like their pistachio roll and carrot cake. They have also very tasty matcha latte.

The perfect spot for brunch: great atmosphere, huge portions of delicious food, well-made coffee, friendly staff. It's great value for money: for around 15 euros you get a huge main dish, a coffee, a cold drink and dessert. I especially recommend the classic cheesecake with caramel sauce. There's lots of sitting but they're very busy so it might be good to book, although they managed to squeeze us in without booking a couple of times.

You must taste the cinnamon or pistache rolls, thats the main reason I will come back to valencia! The waiters are so friendly and helpfull. We will come back tomorrow!

I haven't been back here for a while and was pleasantly surprised at how the customer service had improved. I was greeted at the door immediately with a smile and a warm welcome. I was seated and had more order taken very quickly.

The staff even gave my dog a treat!

Overall, the atmosphere was on point. I felt good simply being there. There was an energetic yet calm vibe that wasn't overwhelming. All positives.

The coffee was spectacular, as was the food (for the price).

I will return. I used to come here a lot but originally stopped because the previous staff were a little rude on numerous occasions. But now, I intend to return much more.

Everything that came from the kitchen looked delicious and guests were smiling, so the food must be good. I only ordered 2 coffee and tried to work for a bit. This was supposed to be a great place to work too. Unfortunately that’s not true. The wifi doesn’t connect to Apple products and the music is way too loud. But this place still gets my 5 stars, because the crew was great, the ambiance nice and the interior is well maintained and clean.

It’s actually not that easy to find a nice americano in a nicely big mug. Spaniards drink really strong coffee mostly and do it quickly or coffee with with milk what is actually a coffee drink (bcs it contains more milk than coffee).
So americano here is just good. Add something sweet and your morning is amazing.

Large portions for brunch. Consider ordering 1 dish for 2 kids to share (especially pancakes and french toast). No kids menu. Food was very delicious, highly recommended! 😋

The croquetas were great! Orders arrived fast. I like the industrial look of the interior, it reminds me of how most coffee places in Manila is designed.

The menu del día was great. 11.95 for pumpkin soup, chicken, burger, cappuccino, and a drink, really great decor and atmosphere. Could use some gluten-free desserts, but did have gluten-free bread for the burgers.

A friend invited us for a brunch in this place and was really good. We had bagles and waffles. We also had their cinnamon roll 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Wooooow this is “ número uno” Brunch in all Spain 🇪🇸, the best by far, in terms of food, pastries, coffee, and snacks. The staff are amazing lovely and very 😊 smileys with every one. Service is outstanding outstanding outstanding. These Bruch should not be local in Valencia, it should be in all Spain. Atmosphere and multi option tables ether in side or outside. The price is excellent. With free coffee and free orange juice. They are the best, with a lot of Variety of pastry and food.

I love this place so much. It's clean, cozy, and the food is delicious. I also love the industrial finish of the interior design. The waiter was very friendly and spoke to us in English, which makes easier for us to order food with my friends. That is why I am giving a 5 star.
