I came here based on the reviews, which I can confirm. The guys at Ajo rents bikes are super nice, approachable, uncomplicated, fast and full of advice. It can be seen that it is more important for them that the guest is satisfied and spends a great time in Barcelona than that he spoons money. The bikes are worn out but safe and functional. Ideal for BC. It's cool that almost everyone has baskets! Price €12 / day. Definitely the cheapest but also the best in town!

Ajo bike really helpful in preparing our bikes for air travel back to Amsterdam after our cycling journey to Barcelona on the Benjaminse route. Vlad the owner is a really nice and correct person.

Thank you! We were a group of 4 people, the guy who rents the bikes was very polite and kind with us. The price was very good 10 euros per 24h, we have a chain with locker so we can park bikes everywhere. It was awesome. Greetings from the guys from ROMANIA!!🤗🇷🇴

Great customer service, the guy who met us was very kind and quickly found the best solution for us and for our daughters. Bikes were not new but were perfectly ok and with all the needed accessories. Pricing was also very reasonable. It was worth every cent and I would be happy to rent again at Ajo Bike.

I checked three other bike-renting places, and they offered me 18euros for 24 hours. Here I got it for 10euro, and they gave me a good luck, chain, and front and back lights. They are flexible, so if you bring the bicycle 1 or 2 hours later, they won't complain about it, and you won't be charged for any extra fee. Next time I'll get the bicycle from them for sure.

22 oct 2023: tried their service for the second time ,this year the prices are 12 euros per day and 100 euros deposit or leaving your ID card there.

I was looking for buying a bike, but they did not have one at this time. They advice me to go to another shop. I think that is a very good service. If I need maintenance: I go here. Recommended shop!

Absolutely the best place to rent your bike in Barcelona. The owner is really easy going and helpful. The prices are reasonable and still we got a discount. We spent amazing 2 days riding along numerous cycling paths. I recommend 😍

Went to this place based on these reviews and did not regret it! Cheaper than other places (11 euros for 2 bikes for 4 hours) and the guy was super chill. Only needed to leave an id and didn't charge fee even though we were one hour over. The bikes worked well, comfortable for casual riding (high handles) and came with big locks that made us feel safe about locking them. Highly recommended!

Friendly, knowledgeable and fun people work there. The bikes are nice and we received good tips from the staff about how to explore Barcelona on wheels. Next time we will rent bikes here again, I recommend this place to everybody who is searching for a bicycle for their stay.

Friendly and helpful. Good value. Can Recommend. We hired 2 bikes for the day. They open at 10:00 am and close at 19:00. 2 bikes cost us 15 Euros. No deposit required. He wanted Driving Licence as security. Good locks. Bikes worked fine. Easy grip twist gear change. 5 gears is OK around city. Use cycle lanes along Seafront.

Amazing bike rental place - the guys there were incredibly friendly, even when I had to swap a bike after an accident resulted in a damaged wheel. The prices were great as well, better than others I saw in the city. Will recommend to any friends I know that are visiting Barcelona!

Cycling around the city was very easy and a really enjoyable way to see all corners of the city.

Googled bike rentals on a whim. Found this place which had good prices and was close to the hotel. Easy going guy running the shop, was friendly and funny, and also very helpful. Rental was a breeze and the bikes came with locks. Fun way to get around the city and see some sites and Ajo Bike made everything nice and easy. The bikes were in great shape and were comfortable. Return was easy, too, and it was 11€ for 2 bikes for about 3 hours. Would strongly recommend.
