Fish n Chips

Absolutely delicious and great service. Haven’t had proper fish and chips in over 10 years and we decided to make the hour and a half trip to Jávea at my brother’s recommendation. My youngest and my husband have never had fish and chips before and both of them loved it. My son said 10/10. Lovely, crispy batter on the fish and great chips. Jumbo sausage, gravy (‘salsa’ 😂) and mushy peas were great too. Very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend to English people living in the area and Spanish people too - the owners speak great Spanish. Thanks for a highly enjoyable meal! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I ate my first fish and chips in my life with my boyfriend, he is English man and his family always come to this place, so I think it's so delicious and the price is good too. I'll retourn whenever I can. 100% Recommended 😁

The fish here is fantastic! Definitely 5 star and obviously cooked fresh to order. The chips are less impressive, perhaps part-cooked and reheated? But OMG that fish is superb!

Newly refurbished this plaice without doubt serves the best Fish & Chips in the area. It’s not just a Chippy it’s an awesome bar too, The football is always on the 4 large TV’s and the owners and staff are first class. Highly recommended. 👌🏼

Called in this evening for fish and chips with mushy peas, sat outside on the terrace. The food was excellent and well presented and the service from the 2 guys serving and from the guy cooking was amazing. Recommended!

Delicious fried fish - tried cod and local fish and both were very good. It is possible to eat in or take away.

Best fish and chips in Spain. Very clean establishment, more like a sports bar than a chippy - so best of both worlds.
They also have John Smith's on tap - what a bonus.

Perfect Fish and Chips shop, the guy that served us was very nice and the portions are very generous. The food is great, fish is tasty and crunchy and chips were beautiful. It is served in paper like the proper English chippy. Also the curry sauce...yummy! Definitely will be coming back.

Absolutely amazing fish chips, mushy peas, curry sauce, onion rings, bread, butter, washed down with a few pints of aguila. Happy days. I almost forgot to mention the great service.

We were originally only going to have a drink as we wanted to watch the football match and golf they were showing. However, when we saw some of the food being taken to tables, we decided we would have something to eat as well. We tried a selection of food …fish which was excellent ; the batter was very thin and crispy ,the chips with curry sauce were excellent… Very dry, crispy and just what you would want from a good chip!
We also tried a Cornish pasty, which was extremely tasty, well cooked and presented… All in all couldn’t fault the food!
The service was quick, and the person serving us was extremely pleasant. The owner came specifically to check on whether we were enjoying the food and what we thought of it and again was very friendly.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the drinks were reasonable, and all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our first, but not our last visit here.

We came once and keep coming back. I know everyone has their own opinions, but for me this is the best Fish n’ Chips in the Marina Alta. Hands down. The quality of the preparation is excellent and exceedingly consistent. Drinks are good, the atmosphere is casual and cheerful, and it’s our go-go chip shop in the area.

Sports bar with 8 TV screens, cheap drinks, and fantastic fish and chips at a good price. We're from the home of fish and chips (UK), but this was honestly the best fish and chips I've had for years. Everything is cooked to order, and really fresh. The staff are brilliant!

Just finished a lovely fishcake and chips. It was a very welcoming environment with friendly staff.
The food was tasty and my wine was very nice. Great place to pick up your Friday night fish n chips.
