Penguin Bar

Bilbao 15/08/24, following our Porto, Madrid & Toledo holiday. Great selection of craft beer/craft ale. Friendly, English speaking guy, very knowledgeable about beers! Will definitely come back over our 3 nights here! So far, my favourite bar!

Really good choice of beer - shame it was only open for one day of my holiday. Guy serving was super cool and friendly too.

Only minor drawback was that it was stuffy inside, despite the weather outside was cool.

The craft beer paradise. They have a great selection of beers on tap and cans and I found some great beer from Manchester ( ABC, Cloudwater)
They don’t have any pintxos at the counter but just cheese and biscuits. Cozy ambience with quirky forniture.
Absolutely approved, I felt at home.

Selection of beers was quite small, not all taps were operated, but the quality of the beers was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Penguins are a +1, everyone loves them right?! I had a really good time out there, so I would absolutely recommend this place for enjoying some good beer.

Nice taplist with some brews from their "house brewery" some cans / bottles on the side. service was an extra solid dude.

As an industry member from the US, its always great to see craft beer alive and well in another country. Cool selection of 16 draughts with a fun bottle list as well. Saw some Cantillon in the fridge... Friendly service and great food to boot! Dog friendly.

Great beer selection, both on tap and in bottles. Unrushed service. Cool ( if a bit dark) place.

Loved this bar, easily one of my favourite in Bilbao. The selection of craft beers on tap was amazing, some amazing fresh DIPAs too. The barman was lovely and had a great knowledge of the beers he was serving. Also, great music. Don't miss this place if you visit Bilbao

Nice bar, clean, waitress really kind and always smiling. My gin-tonic was well made and the proportion between gin and tonic water was perfect. Wide range of super tasting beers and of white/red wine. There are some cool couch or normal chairs with table so seat and enjoy your time. Prices are good if the services and location are taken into account.
Definitely recommended.

Amazing selection of artisan beers (16 on draft!) and a very chill place to hang out and meet friends in Bilbao. The bartenders are very friendly and will let you try any of the beers on tap before ordering one.

Pedro made us feel like regulars from the get go. Amazing bar, great cocktails and very reasonable prices. 10/10 would recommend.

Daytime is a set menu for €14.50.
3 courses plus an amuse bouche!
Lovely food... didn't get the artisan beer but it looked good.

A proper craft beer bar in Bilbao! This bar has up to 16 craft kegs on at any one time, and also hosts launches of local beers. The prices are higher than many of the bars nearby, but then you're getting a superior product, and the staff are fantastically friendly!

Good selection of beers (on tap and bottled) and friendly service. No food during daytime though.

Great place just happened to be playing my genre of music on night I went. Great local beers.

They showed me great hospitality to me and my friends! I come back every now and again to relax with a beer because the music, the sitting area and the staff are fantastic! 10/10 one of my favourite places in the world, Slainte from Ireland

Good beer and great helpful service on Friday evening but today (Sunday) 17.10 barmaid appeared grumpy. After feeling grudgingly served she mopped the floor to leave awful smell of bleach. Sad!

Great selection of craft beers from around EU. 16 beers on tap, 3 produced by themselves. Currently at keast 2 from uk microbreweries
Beer kept well (the 2 uk ones i tried were very good quality)
