Lagoon of the Cross

Driving over dusty roads, it is amazing to arrive at the Las Lagunas de Cañada del Hoyo. The first lagoon that you see right by the parking lot is not as deep in the ground and almost looks like a lake and not the sinkhole that it is. There is a path around the lake that -at one time - had been fortified and maintained , but fell in disrepair and has brambles growing over it and in one spot you have to navigate a fallen tree. I still found it worthwhile to walk around the Laguna to better absorb the scenery.

El parque natural de las Torcas de Cañada del Hoyo merecen ser recorridas y disfrutar de la naturaleza singular, de los pinares y árboles singulares, es un espectáculo

IMPRESIONANTE. La combinación de la química, las rocas, monte,y organismos de la naturaleza. Es capaz de crear colores, estructuras maravillosas tras colapsos del terreno, en miles de millones de años, y que continúan en proceso.

Las lagunas son muy bonitas. La parte gratuita se visita muy muy rapido, en 10 minutos está todo visto y la ruta es super pequeña y rápida, demasiado quizás. Merecería la pena ver las otras lagunas pero es una pena que sean de pago.
