Café La Catedral

We stop here for a cup of coffee & sangria. It’s nice to sit outside. The drink is wonderful!

The staff were pleasant even though they were clearly quite busy and they had time for me to order food in Spanish (I was visiting on holiday from the UK and I don't speak very good Spanish). They were efficient and the food was great. They have a terrace on the cathedral plaza outside which is great if it is nice weather.

Very nice location at the steps of the cathedral. Very busy Saturday lunchtime but service was quick and friendly. Cheesecake very 🙂

Nice place. Big portions. Take sea and land for three persons - veal, pork, sausage, fish, octopus, prawns and else for 40 eur. Nice!

We stopped here on our way to the ferry on our way back from holiday. It was very nice friendly bar with good quality drinks at a reasonable price. It had a relaxed comfortable atmosphere and seemed very popular with the locals.

I like the place very much. Every time I visit Santander I will come here. Good service, food,ambiance and the waiters/waitress are always happy and smiling. Lot of choice in food/drinks. I come with a smile and leave with a bigger smile. Keep up the good work!!!

One of my favourite venues in Santander, with a lovely terrace in a sweet location, good food and drink, and consistently excellent customer service across the board and over time in a way that demonstrates their deliberate commitment to this.

Beautiful location and very good food. Wasn't too bad with the price either. The milkshakes were delicious and refreshing and the food arrived swiftly. The service was excellent and whilst they didn't speak much English, they tried their very best and made it so much easier to order from the menu.

Fun place we recommend. Tapas were excellent especially the langastinos with sauce. Wine was nice..and jamon with tomatoes. Very nice service. You must go!!

Great service, once they realised me and my friend only spoke English they quickly sent an English speaking waiter our way. The waiters are very friendly and the quality is very good.
