Málaga María Zambrano Train Station

A big, nice and clean train station. There are plenty of shops to go around while waiting for the train. And of course there are coffee places where you can get caffeine fixed.

A big train station in Málaga, everything is super clean, and a little detail, if you want to go to bathroom you have to pay 1 Euro, but it worth it, all super clean and very well cared.

If traveling from the air into Malaga hop on the C1 and the brings you directly to the center of town for €2.40. Alternatively if you are going south then the C1 goes as far as Fuengirola stopping at places like Torremollinos. A very easy system to use with tickets purchased from ticket machines prior to boarding. The station closes at 11pm and opens again at 6am.

A very clean train station. Lots of shops, cafes, and places to buy food. Feels more like an airport actually. We needed to buy train tickets, and the Renfe agent was very helpful, including selling us a Euro 6 pass to save us Euro 20 just on the ticket.

This is the main train station in Malaga useful both local and national destinations. It;s a very modern station with left luggage and plenty of shopping and places to eat. In fact, it can feel like Maria Zambrano is a shopping mall with a train station attached such is the huge number of shops and restaurants within the station complex. As well as trains, the main bus station in Malaga is also close by, about 5 minutes walk away. Many of the local buses also stop close by and if these don't do it for you, then there's plenty of taxi's just outside the entrance to the station.

Great Location. Lots of shopping choices, eateries and clean toilets. It has a sizable supermarket for all your needs. Plenty of services available for Cordoba, Madrid and onwards to Barcelona. The only thing missing is the storage rooms/units for luggage. Most of the platforms are quite close to the main entrance.

Great train station. There is an underground parking below the station. Only issue is if you take the first train in the morning, nothing is open inside the station otherwise no complaints and the fast trains are on time 👌

The station is convenient and clean. It has a Shopping Mall and fast-food restaurants. The Ave station has a nice cafeteria open as early as 6 am. In addition, there are taxi cabs outside the main entrance. Underground parking is also available.

I have been here a couple of times. Situated in a nice area and also very clean environment. If you are traveling from the south of Spain to other areas you might want to consider a train from Maria Zambrano. Totally worth your while!

I have never seen a train station this lovely, aside from the main one in Paris.

Took a fast train (Ave) from Málaga to Madrid. Everything went great.

Friendly staff with English speaking personnel is always a plus. Very clean station and trains. Very good food and drinks available from platform kiosk.

Convenient, modern train station in the center of the city.

I came to the train station and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a proper shopping center as well. If you arrive earlier tothe train station, like I did, it is a great place to spend some comfortable time - there is a cafe, a working area with plugs, clean toilets and, of course, plenty of shops to look around and buy something. Once you have passed the security check to enter the platform there is a little cafe to get a drink, snacks and souvenirs.

Used this station several times while on holiday. Impressive interior with plenty of retail spaces. Used High speed train to Cordoba and local RENFE trains with much fuss.
RENFE ticket machines can be tricky to master.
