Bochinche Santander

The best place for cocktails in Santander. Ruben is truly an expert and I have always loved any drink he has made for me.
He makes such a brilliant range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, ranging from the classics (espresso martini, moscow mule, mojitos etc) to his own beautiful creations (Rana Verde, Dr Jekyll, Mr Hyde, Oscuro Secreto).
Every person I have brought to Bochinche has been amazed by the skills and professionalism shown by him and I cannot wait to visit again

Had a really nice time in this bar. Ruben (owner) is a really great guy, incredibly knowledgeable about cocktails, and good to chat to.

What also adds to the experience is the small size of the bar, and the attention which goes into making your drink. You leave feeling richer (and of course more drunk) for the experience - really highly recommend!

It can be challenging to find a place that makes good cocktails in Spain. This place is excellent. Ruben is a very gracious and friendly host and an excellent mixologist. We came all the way from Arizona to find the best mescal we had ever tried!

A gem of a spot if you fancy a little treat when holidaying in Santander. Small and unassuming, very easily missed… Bartender Ruben has a passion for what he does. In his own words ‘he is the menu’ tell him what you want or give him an idea of what you think you might fancy in regards to strength and flavours and he can master you something up… myself and my wife had Pornst@r Martini , Whiskey sours, Old Fashioned, Strawberry Daiquiri and some other on the spot masterpiece the name escapes me but it was strawberry/raspberry based with Bacardi… (pictured below)
The only downside was the lack of clientele but having said that it was a Tuesday and a Wednesday when we called in so weekends may very well be busier…
Average price per cocktail was €7.50 .. An absolute steal compared to Irish prices….

Best cocktail pub in Santander. I recommend it if you want to impress a senorita at the first date :))

I don't mind standard cocktails, but what I really admire in a cocktail bar is a place like this, where you can walk in, tell the mixologist the kind of thing you like, and they make you something with a little twist, and which you love.
This was a great experience, awesome cocktails, a really good selection of spirits (including some terrific whisky if you don't want a cocktail) and it had that great balance between being luxurious, but laid back.
The owner said he hadn't been in town long, but he was so welcoming, spoke great English and I hope he's there next time I visit!

A charming bar run by the very charming Ruben. Cocktails were top notch and Ruben is really tuned in when it comes to making sure that you order a cocktail that’s to your taste. A very welcoming and friendly vibe too. Definitely worth a try when visiting Santander

Un lugar de paso para tomar una copa diferente a lo habitual.
El camarero es un tío majo y simpático yo he ido un par de veces y solo le digo lo que me apetece (refrescante, dulce…) y que no me gusta mucho la ginebra. Y te hace sus combinados lo mezcla todo elegante y eso.
Tiene numerosas bebidas y marcas para elaborar cocteles diversos. También tiene cervezas y vino pero no es especialista en eso.
Tienen terraza y en el interior no es muy amplio.
Los precios no son caros para lo que vale la zona.

El sitio muy bonito y acogedor, y el personal muy amable y cercano, ademas de hacer unos cocktails brutales, siempre dan con lo que quieres y ademas siempre con una sonrisa. Lo recomiendo 100% que os paseis y disfruteis de lo que saben hacer y de la manera que pocos saben hacerlo.

Ambiente maravilloso, cocktails riquísimos y el Rubén es lo más! Te asesora con respecto a tus gustos, y siempre da en el clavo!

Muy ricos coctels tiene una carta que da para probar y probar, ubicado en muy buena zona, la atención del 10
