Great, non touristic place. Food is delicious with reasonable pricing.
Menu "del dia" costs €12. Portion sizes are big enough.
We ordered chicken plate, and squid plate, for €10 each.
Staff is friendly and speak English a little bit.

Bar staff are very friendly ladies who always manage to cheer people up.
This is a family-run café-bar, which means you can get breakfast, go for a coffee throughout the day, lunch (including a set menu during weekdays), or dinner (portions, rolls and sandwiches are available to dine in or take away). The lunch set menu is great value for money, and a-la-carte is also reasonably priced.

Customers are a melting pot of local people, workers, and foreign visitors (pilgrims or otherwise). The latter group often come for lunch (I guess the word is out) and the staff's outgoing personality does the rest –despite the language barrier communication is fluid and I've never seen anyone getting frustrated or leaving, but quite the opposite.

If you are around this area this is definitely one worth checking out!

Popped in here for a quick drink when staying nearby. Decided to walk away from the cathedral to get some space from the crowds and found this little place!

Lovely and friendly staff. Mix of older and younger locals eating and drinking. €1.90 for a cana compared to €2.50 nearer the cathedral and served with a tapas dish made this a great wee stop.

Prices are reasonable comparing to the restaurants across the street, closer to the cathedral. Menu was in Spanish and English making it easier for us as we don't speak Spanish.

Enjoy dinner and breakfast here. Good service and very reasonably-priced quality food.

I had breakfast here for 2 weeks during a volunteering job. I love this place, it's on the Camino to Fisterra, so perfectly placed. But it also is an authentic bar, with my favourite pan tostada con tomate, complimentary churros with the excellent coffee, free newspapers and the news on tv, all in Spanish of course. The staff very polite and pleasant, and the prices.... I don't know how they manage. Muchas gracias!

It has really nice outdoor seatings and the prices are cool. Also the people working there are kind and nice.

Desayunamos y cenamos, buen precio y muy bien ubicado, cerquita de la Catedral y de camino sin desviarte si vas a iniciar el epílogo en la primera etapa hasta Fisterra o Muxía.
Buen servicio y atención por parte del personal.

Un clásico reformado (los baños sorprenden por su diseño) con buena comida, tapas y café a muy buen precio. Personal muy atento y amable.
Tiene terraza y entrada en la parte posterior.
El mejor lugar para iniciar el camino a Fisterra y reponer fuerzas.

Por poner un pero: tienen dos máquinas tragaperras en la entrada, algo que puede disuadir a muchos clientes (como yo), desentonando con el ambiente y la buena disposición del local.

Un bar de barrio de toda la vida. Las camareras son muy amables, siempre atentas incluso cuando hay un montón de peregrinos pesados.

Los desayunos pueden ser tanto dulces como salados.
Disponen de menú del día.

Excelente bar de los de toda la vida, sin ninguna pretensión más allá de ofrecer un servicio buenísimo, amable y con una calidad excepcional en sus platos. Literalmente, bueno, bonito y barato. Un mil sobre diez.
