So many places in the area use a very dark roast, but this cafe procures a slightly less roasted bean. This allows you to taste the different flavour notes while getting your caffeine hit. Bonus for lactose free, and their other selection of milks.

I spent three days in Valencia, and during that time, I discovered a gem of a cafe that quickly became my go-to spot: Raices. It’s safe to say that this place was one of the highlights of my trip.

From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and made every visit feel special. They clearly care about their customers and go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience possible.

Now, let’s talk about the food—specifically, the avocado toast with eggs. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s perfect. The toast was crispy, the avocado fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the eggs cooked to perfection. It’s a simple dish, but they’ve truly mastered it. I ordered it every day along with the cortado or tea and it never failed to impress.

The vibe of the cafe is another standout feature. It’s cozy, with a laid-back yet vibrant energy that makes you want to linger for hours, sipping on your coffee and soaking in the ambiance. Whether you’re looking for a place to work, catch up with friends, or just relax, this cafe is the ideal spot.

Leaving Valencia, I know I’m going to miss this cafe the most. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left, and I can’t wait for the day I get to return. If you’re in Valencia, do yourself a favor and visit Raices cafe. You won’t regret it!

We’re on vacation and stopped in while exploring the city. My Spanish isn’t the greatest but the staff were very understanding, and did a great job making us feel welcomed. The banana bread was amazing, and the latte was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had on my trip. Highly recommend this place

Exceptional! Everything is just amazing, coffee and food. We stayed in Valencia for 5 days and 4 days we were coming here to have our coffee with breakfast.

Happy I found this place! I went for an iced latte and it was very good. We also got a couple empanadas which were great, especially the queso y cebolla. Rodrigo was wonderful- he was very welcoming and took such great care to make our coffees perfect. It was really nice to chat with someone, especially since you don’t get too many “holas” or smiles on the street in Valencia. I highly recommend this cafe!

The Argentinian owners are very friendly, they receive you with a big smile.

This is a new coffee shop on my street and I just love stopping by to get a cold brew whenever I'm passing by.

You might see the door closed, as they have an AC inside. Don't think they that are closed :)
