Los Almendros

Stayed here a week in March 2023. Adam is a great host, answering all questions quickly and he's local enough to assist with any issues. The fire in the kitchen was very welcome as it got quite cool a couple of evenings, and Adam was very patient with explaining how to get it going (not something I've done before in 53 years!)
The house is well equipped, we stayed in and cooked a couple of nights. Combi boiler provided plenty of hot water, and there is a bath and a nice shower in the large bathroom. Bed was comfy, and the room is very dark with the shutters closed.
Nigueles is a lovely village with friendly people. We ate in the local bars a couple of times (free tapas with your beer!) Plenty of amazing walks and views in the area.
We will definitely be back.

Stayed in this beautiful house about 35+ years ago. Great location, for exploring the region around Granada. More importantly, it's a fantastic holiday home.

We had a fabulous stay at Los Almendros, the cottage had everything we needed and the pool was a godsend. Secluded and quiet, just what we needed. Adam, was a gem and a Bristolian, like me. Thank you so much.

Been here nearly two weeks and it is a lovely place to stay in a fantastic part of Southern Spain. Everything you want is here especially the use of your own private pool. It's a godsend!! Would highly recommend it as a place to stay and would love to come back!!!!!

Can’t really praise this place highly enough. We were looking for something affordable and a little bit different, one that would allow us to chill after a busy year, as well as provide a good base from which to explore the surrounding area. Casa los Almendros did that – and more! The house is extremely well-equipped (Adam and Hermy seem to have thought of everything!). It’s also ideally situated on the edge of the village, within a pleasant walk to the local cafes and shops. The pool is excellent if you just want to take it easy, as we did on quite a few days, sitting in the shade of the big fig tree. We wondered how our boys, aged 12 and 9, would cope, but they loved it. We mixed things up, taking it easy one day, driving to some beautiful little towns and villages – and to Granada! – on another. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone. A word for Adam and Hermy. We found them very pleasant and unobtrusive. They were always available to answer our queries and gave us good advice on where to go. Authentic Spain with a little touch of English thoughtfulness. Thank you.

Los Almendros was voor ons, een gezin met twee grote dochters 15 en 17, helemaal perfect! Omdat het weer nog steeds mooi was konden we eind oktober nog gebruik maken van het zwembad. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en erg schoon. Het huis ligt in het mooie bergdorp Niguelas. Vanuit het huis zijn er diverse wandelroutes mogelijk. Wij komen zeker terug. Adam is een super gastvrije host!

La casa está ubicada en una zona muy tranquila, cerca del centro y rutas de senderismos. La tranquilidad y el silencio se respira por todos sus rincones, cosa que agradecimos muchísimo. La casa estaba muy limpia y tenía todos los accesorios que se pueden necesitar. La zona del jardín está muy cuidada y limpia al igual que la piscina. Disfrutamos de unos días increíbles rodeados de tranquilidad, naturaleza y la comodidad de estar en un pueblo encantador que tiene de todo.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr sauber, komplett eingerichtet. Ein absoluter Wohlfühl-Ort. Hilfsbereiter, sehr netter Vermieter. Wir kommen wieder.

La casa es perfecta para desconectar. No se oye ningun ruido, el patio es intimo y las vistas espectaculares. La cama y los sofas super comodos y una ducha espectacular.
La zona super tranquila y el pueblo de niguelas precioso.
Adam un magnifico anfitrion.

Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos, la vivienda tiene todo lo necesario como para que te encuentres en tu propio casa, todo en una planta, muy cómoda y bien equipada.
El jardín, una maravilla, sobre todo porque nuestro peque lo ha disfrutado un montón y nosotros también.
No hemos podido hacer uso de la piscina por el tiempo, pero debe ser una gozada en verano.
De lo que estamos seguro es que repetiremos.

We' ve had a great time. The house has everything you need to be at home, all the rooms on one floor, very comfy and well equipped.
Wonderful garden, especially for our little one who has enjoyed it a lot, as well as his parents;)
We couldn't use the pool because of the weather, but it must be a pleasure in the summer.
What we are sure of is that we'll come back.

Fuimos dos parejas y pasamos un fin de semana espectacular. La casa está en un paraje muy bonito, rodeada de arboleda y silencio. Muy bien comunicada y equipada. También, muy importante, súper limpia.

Hemos pasado uno dias geniales. El pueblo estupendo si buscas tranquilidad y montaña. La casa perfecta para dos adultos y dos niños.

Genial la casa. Limpia y equipada con TODO. Fuimos con dos perros y disfrutamos los 4 muchísimo.
