Historic petrol filling station as it was established over 60 years ago. The Monastery's monks needed to fill up from time time,still do as well as serving villagers and passers by. It would never get planning permission today as it has a negative impact on the setting of the Monastery and on the gable wall. Prices are pretty reasonable even cheaper than some other outlets in the wider facility.
