My stay at the Leku Eder hotel in San Sebastián was absolutely wonderful. The setting is magnificent, with stunning sea views inviting relaxation. What truly sets this hotel apart is the quality of its staff: extremely welcoming and always eager to assist, making our visit as delightful as possible. I highly recommend Leku Eder to anyone seeking a tranquil and welcoming trip to San Sebastián, where the warmth of the service ensures an unforgettable experience.

The best view from our balcony of any place we've ever stayed. Very nice room. Good breakfast. Very reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Spent a long time explaining where we should visit and how to use the bus system. We'll definitely stay here again if in the area.

Lovely views, really nice staff, and clean rooms and beds. It is a little way out of town but the bus is very frequent and runs late into the evening.

A real gem of a find!!

Very much off the beaten path from central San Sebastian, on the far side of Monte Igeldo, but easily accessible by a 10-15 minute bus ride.

Wonderful coastal views, quiet and comfortable, great service, and good breakfast, all for very affordable prices.

Would come here again!

I can highly recommend Leku Eder hotel. We booked for one night only, but stayed for 3! It is so lovely here.
We have a stunning view from our room and balcony where we can see and hear the calming sounds of the oceans and the birds. The personal are very professional and kind and show great hospitality that makes us feel like home.
The breakfast room is beautiful located with a view, they serve lots of cakes...I don't eat sweet in the mornings, but the cakes look tempting.
The hotel is located within walking distance to town. You can walk along the beach promenade to the old town (it took is 45 mins from the hotel). There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you to town, so convenient.

My family had an amazing experience at this hotel. The hotel has a breathtaking view of the sea, very good breakfast and an outstanding, friendly and helpful staff. I cannot say enough good things about the staff! The location is just outside the center of the city, which makes the area very quiet. Public transportation (bus) can be taken in front of the hotel, even though we used taxi to move around town. There is no air conditioning, but we did not need it at the end of May and beginning of June.

Everything is absolutely amazing from the welcome you get, the rooms and breathtaking views, spotlessly clean and the best breakfast we had in a very long time. This is a family owned hotel and the care and pride they have in their business shows.
Thank you very much for this amazing service and making us feel at home. We will come back without hesitation.

We had a lovely clean spacious room with an outdoor terrace and a great sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is free parking and the 16 bus runs into the town centre and is very cheap and stops right outside the hotel. Highly recommended.

What a great place to stay, very quiet. You have fantastic views from the breakfast room. There is a regular bus service into the main town for less than€2, it stops directly outside the hotel. If you feel fit, you can take a walk down through a wooded area. Your host is very helpful in explaining everything about the area.

Superb quirky hotel on a mountainside with spectacular views and wonderful friendly staff. From start to finish we could not fault it, quite possibly the best service we have ever received from a hotel.

Breakfast is great value (currently €6 each) you get a selection of cheese and meats, bread, fruits, juices and coffee, followed by some of the nicest homemade cakes, our favourite ones were the apple cake and the carrot cake, chocolate orange was good too.

The manager is a friendly guy who offers great local guidance, you can tell he was born to do this job.

There is a bus stop right outside and the bus is every 20 minutes and for €1.85 it takes you into the old town. If you want to get a taxi it's between €9-12 depending on what time you get one.

Nothing was too much hassle for th staff here, they're genuinely fantastic, we would recommend this place to anyone.

This lovely family run hotel is just far enough, but not too far away from the hustle of San Sabastian. Its set on the hill above. You can either step outside and get a bus, which runs every 15 mins and costs €1.85 or walk upto the funicular within 10 mins, pay €2.50 to see the stunning view, then pay a bit more to go down to the coast on the funicular, either way its easy. The bus is no:16 picks up and drops off right outside the hotel. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, helpful and really care, the room we had was a great size with an amazing sea view. The breakfast is really great, everything you could want, all fresh and tasty, and there's private parking, which is hard to come by in San Sabastian, we will definitely return to this hotel, its super clean and super friendly.

Rooms are a bit dated, but really clean and comfy. We had a room with view, and it's totally worth the few extra bucks!! I'd recommend that for sure, otherwise the hotel isn't that special. Breakfast was good, unless you're on a diet. There were 3 different types of self baked cake! :)

Great place and the vantage point is just brilliant. Good car parking space and bus stop to San Sebastian centro is outside the hotel. The room was rustic and clean with a nautical theme. Friendly reception staff. This place is half a mile from the funicular which goes down to San Sebastian.

Absolutely beautiful views from the sea view rooms. It's a little out of town but there's a bus stop right outside - about 30 mins to town. Don't let this out you off - San Sebastián is a town to live life slowly and admire the scenery, so the bus ride is all part of the fun. Staff really friendly. And the breakfast room is great, with sea views from the massive windows.

We loved the view from our room and the care and assistance from the very lovely staff. Second to none. Comfy, clean, surprisingly spacious balcony.

Super convenient to explore San Seb from here without being right in the middle of the august chaos.

Recommend doing your first entrance to San Seb via the funicular in the theme park to get the views first before you walk the bay to the old town.

This hotel was lovely surprise. Staff was super friendly and told us good information about area. During our days we changed room from street side to sea side so we got sea view. I recommend you to take room with sea view! View is amazing. Rooms was clean. Bed was comfortable although bit noisy.. and breakfast contain lot of bread/whey products and we missed eggs/omelettes or other protein sources. Ham was only protein source in breakfast. In evening time there was free tea, cakes and coffee offered in living room that is nice area for working etc. Internet wifi is OK but its not best possible. I still could do my software engineering work there but sometimes connection was slow. Location is good because you can go to city centre very easily with bus.

This place is the most charming and beautiful hotel I’ve been to. Not your high-class, 5-star hotel. But I find my stay very memorable because of their amazing service from their staff, and their lookout to the ocean in their breakfast sunroom. For anyone coming to San Sebastian and looking for a hotel? Definitely would recommend this dainty place!

A complete gem of a place, surrounded by trees and mountains it has it all. If you love breath taking scenery, friendly staff, love the ocean & enjoy being close to the action without the craziness this is the place. Buses go right past to downtown & the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, offering places to eat, see, & answering questions. We will be back!

Excellent low cost lodging. Stayed in a road-facing room, which was not so great, but the lounge/breakfast room more than made up for it. Great ocean view, with a small balcony.

Staff were super nice and recommended some wonderful places to eat in town.

Wonderful family run hotel. Good location just outside the city but bus service right at the front door of the hotel. Bus ride only 10 minutes to town and easy pay with cash or credit on the bus. Good breakfast with fantastic views of the Bay of Biscay. Room was comfortable and very clean.
