I have had the pleasure of taking French lessons with Malvina for 18 months. It has been a very rewarding experience. First, Malvina is a fantastic person. She is a joy to be with because she is so friendly and engaging. My lessons with her have helped me improve my ability to speak and understand the Fench language. I am currently taking French classes at Alliance Francaise and my teacher and the other students have commented how much my skills have improved since studying with Malvina. While she allows me to select the subject matter for my lessons, she does a wonderful jog connecting the various topics together and gently correcting my grammar, tenses, and sentence structure so that my ability to communicate is more fluent and with less mistakes. I highly recommend Malvina. You will not be disappointed if your goal is to learn or improve your ability to speak French.

Malvina is an EXCELLENT teacher. She is very patient and very knowledgeable and is wonderful with communicating grammar, syntax et cetera. She uses various interactive tools as well as traditional methods, ie, book learning. She makes learning French completely attainable. Malvina is a fantastic teacher! Unpretentious, funny, and interesting. She always has creative explanations of the French language.

She has so many students here in New York City that we students have met up and formed our own weekly conversation group. You could call it a Malvina fan club.

In fact, after several months of lessons, I have started reading Proust. I see now why the French are obsessed with Madeleines.

I have had a chance to get connected with and take French classes from them and still enjoy learning French thanks to their professional care.
