El Tilo lived up to the wonderful reviews. Staff were amazing so friendly and efficient. Great selection of cupcakes, cheesecakes, croissants and toasted muffins. Outstanding coffee served here plus freshly squeezed orange juice. All at very reasonable prices. A real gem we wish El Tilo continued success.

I love, love, love this coffee shop. I wish it was around the corner from my home. The coffee is amazing, as well as the pastries. The owner is an absolute sweetheart. It's maybe 50 to 100 feet from PetitPalace hotel and across the street from the theater.

We came here for breakfast. Coffee is good as is the freshly squeezed orange juice. The tomatoes with cheese on toast is very tasty. The staff are friendly. The cakes looked amazing so will have to go back another day to try those ☺. A great place that is very popular so you might have to queue for a table.

If you ever come to Bilbao, you must try this Belgian bakery. The toasts are amazing. The cheese cake is out of this world . There is always a line in the morning but it is worth it. The owner has his own album of jazz music , i will miss this place when i leave 😢

Came here twice because we had such a great experience. The cappuccinos (both hot and iced) were delicious, as was the fresh squeezed orange and carrot juice. We weren’t going to order breakfast cheesecake, but we’re then convinced too when we saw it. The service was friendly and fast. Really enjoyable experience!

Very cute little Cafe with incredibly friendly proprietor. He made sure we had exactly what we wanted. Even when busy he took care of each and every customer. We went 3 days in a row for cafe and croissants and it was excellent every time! Thank you!

Extremely cozy cafe / bakery! I really love their cafe con leche, and they always have new cake flavors that are fresh and really yummy. The staff are really nice and friendly, and the interior is so cute. Great option for a morning coffee in Bilbao ☀☀

Yummy cupcakes, ok coffee, dairy free milk options, very nice and cosy ambience by the river right in the old town with a few tables outdoor with the views of The Arriaga Theatre.

Excellent service. The salmon & focaccia salad was delicious likewise the pastry tart with creamed pear filling and speculoos biscuit crumble topping. Extremely clean, lovely decor and piped chillout music. All food is prepared on site, salads on order. Staff extremely pleasant and professional. Most definitely worth a visit.

If there was a Michelin star rating for cafes, this Belgian style cafeteria would earn 3 stars. Highly recommended.

Wonderful intimate & cosy with lovely cup cupcakes. We wanted to share so chose a brownie and it was light and nutty. Wanted a small coffee and their cortado was just right. We would go back but only in Bilbao for one day.

Staff very nice. Decoration and atmosphere amazing and cozy. The breakfast menu is very good and not expensive. Also the cupcakes and deserts seem delicious.

Awesome place! Good coffee (which does not appear easy to find in Bilbao) and really nice food. Definitely stop here for a breakfast or snack!
