We love Ensalada Caprese. We frequently make Ensalada Caprese ourselves. We know Ensalada Caprese. La Guitarra has one of the best Ensalada Caprese anywhere and certainly here in Dénia. We’ve tried quite a few elsewhere and none are better. With the oven baked, piping hot, homemade torpedo shaped bread rolls to soak up the olive oil this combo is addicting.
La Guitarra also has homemade Argentinian empanadas. Get the meat ones. They’re filled with a delicious bolognese-like filling. One is not enough. Two per person minimum mandatory. Hosts Margarita and Claudio are warm and welcoming. Cozy indoor dining room & bar and relaxed outdoor terrace. Across from Troya market and at Denia’s Marina.

Great food, nice setting, great waitress, she single handedly served all the guests with a smile a sense of humour. The food was very good and well presented. The location is also right down the beach. They don’t speak English though , but menus have English translations. The only feedback would be , we would have liked a drink menu which was non-existent.

We have been meaning to try this restaurant for some time and finally got around to it. We ate in the evening and the place was busy. The menu is large and is primarily Argentinian steak but there are a couple of other options too. The fillet steak was outstanding and came on a hot plate so you can finish cooking to your liking, steak kebab was also great. The staff were really friendly and service excellent. All in all highly recommended.

I very much like the wine - this time from Argentina - and watch out - they have two menues... one for Argentinian and one for Spanish wine. So we will be back 😁

I had probably the best steak of my life (63) here last night. There are very interesting meats available especially the starters that include a lot of flavours that have been removed from menus across the EU (sweetbreads, etc). The patron greeted us in his BBQ apron and Eric looked after the service with good English because my Spanish is suspect, but I try.
She had delicious juicy lamb on a giant skewer. Spectacular and so tasty with mushroom and peppers. My steak was more fillet than sirloin. He gave me the Rump-steak and I ordered it medium rare. It was like butter and definitely 10oz/300gms after cooking. Home cut fries and the best pepper sauce I ever tasted on the side. The wine list was not cheap but high quality and like the food - worth it. For dessert we skipped pudding and had Hennessy’s and Bailey’s and sent one in to the patron and we Saluted accordingly.
We shall return to this rustic steak house that knows its craft perfectly. Enjoy the wonderful food, and the craic (fun).

This is our go to restaurant in Denia, this place has great service with polite and happy waiters, lovely interior and nice exterior with plants and flowers everywhere which add to the atmosphere. The best part:
Food! The food here is nicely presented and tastes delicious! Here is the best burger I have ever eaten in my life! The empanadillas are a must have! Here is my vertical chicken skewer that I ordered 😍

The food was really delicious and high quality. The meat and vegetables were served on a hot coal grill which was very special. Can only recommend going here! I had a rump steak which was perfect medium

From the moment we sat, we encountered so much surprises. The bread, the aïoli and the quality of the meat and sides, the taste of the fresh tagliatell and the meaty sauce with it, all was....perfect

A must visit when in Denia! A family style, lovely, cozy and very authentic restaurant. We were taken care of by a very friendly, warm and charming woman (perhaps the owner?) during our visit. She made us feel very welcome and relaxed and then we haven’t even mentioned the food yet 😂So, what about the food then? Just one word: WOW. And wow! ❤😍The meat was simply melting in our mouths, the grilled vegetables were fresh and crispy,
with a touch of salt and the Argentinan red wine the perfect, final detail.

We already look forward to our next visit!🙏🍷

Really one of the best restaurants in Denia. The steak I had here, was one of the Top5-Steaks I ever had in my life. Nice and friendly service.

Excellent steak house. I came here for my birthday with family. The choice of food is extensive. The quality of food is really good. We all enjoyed what we ordered. The mixed grill was superb. Pizza was tasty. Go hungry. There is alot of food. Only down side was it was a bit chilly in the restaurant.

Delicious Argentinian bbq with wonderful tango songs on the background. Erik was amazing, gave us ideas on what to try, explained the food well, and looked after us. Apparently, they are opening a bakery. I can't wait to be back for that.

Took lunch with one of the best argentinian trapiche wine. Family runned restaurant. Perfect service. Do not miss empanadas. We took them for later "snacks". The food is fresh and tasty, argentinian romantic vintage experience. Loved it.

A good experience. In a lovely garden near the harbour. The chef very friendly. Argentine octopus was really good. Will try the steaks next time.
