Reasonable prices and central location

I stopped by twice for breakfast on my 2 days in Bilbao. Awesome food and coffee. Even at 6:30 am when the streets were empty, they were busy with what seemed like regulars coming in for a quick cup of coffee or espresso. It's a 10 minute walk from the main bus station and San Mamés Stadium, and a very safe area (even when dark at 6 am).

Try the open-face grilled croissant with fresh jam (it's almost assumed that's what you want when you walk in and don't speak Basque) - croissant a la plancha. I gathered that you eat this with a fork and knife instead of folding it up and eating it like a sandwich. The tortilla morcilla (omelette with crumbled blood sausage throughout) was great, too. Juice is zumo here, not jugo, so remember that when you get a glass of fresh squeezed OJ. Coffee + grilled croissant + fresh juice was €6 sitting at the bar. They also have outdoor seating, and coffee to go (para llevar).

I don't think the staff speaks much English, but if you speak basic Spanish (or have English to Basque translations on your phone), you'll get what you want. They were friendly and attentive.

Hands down the best breakfast and coffee we had in Bilbao, and they had a baby change table. Great service.

Buenísimo desayuno y la camarera un encanto. Pedimos dos cruasán a la plancha y pincho de tortilla. Lo único es que deberían actualizar su horario en Google Maps... nos plantamos allí un domingo por la mañana porque según esto estaba abierto y... no 😅

Primer lugar que descubri en Bilbao, lindo, autentico y con buen servicio desde temprano ^^ regresaremos seguro

Cafetería clásica, pinchos y raciones que hacen las delicias del turista medio. La tortilla de patatas (de distintos tipos) es como debe ser una buena tortilla. La terraza muy cómoda, las camareras son muy amables y atentas. Precio muy asequible. Muy buen café.

Una excelente atención por parte de todo el personal, la comida fabulosa y el detalle de cambiador para bebés. Muy recomendable al 100%, pinchos de los mejores...

Siéntate en el bar y observa a la señora de la máquina de café expreso hacer que toda la magia suceda. Todos trabajan muy duro y muy rápido y muy eficientes y a un precio muy razonable.
