Granada Retreats

We stayed for a long weekend and loved it . Corralon is in the most stunning location with incredible views including the Sierra Nevada . It’s is so peaceful and we enjoyed some incredible walking , particularly as at the end we found a great tapas bar and restaurant! There is a colony of griffon vultures on stunning cliffs behind the house which we found fascinating. Nighttime is amazing as the stars are wonderful . The house its self is finished to a very high standard , plenty of space , everything you need and beautiful swimming pool and yoga sala . Lovely hosts who were so helpful .

I attended a yoga and dance workshop in this gorgeous location. The views, the peace, the mountain trails, and the beautifully renovated farmhouse all conspire to make this an ideal place to get away, whether you're attending a program, hosting a program, or are on vacation. The yoga studio is large, sunny and warm in winter. It has curtains for shade in summer. The workshop area includes a kitchen, dining area, and a cosy space with sofas to hang out with the other attendees or even to have a siesta (I did!). Allison and Julian are meticulous, attentive hosts. Outside, the mountain air makes you want to breath deep, relax, and free your mind. Truly a superb and therapeutic environment. Also, two of the best restaurants in the area are a few minute drive in Fátima. The stunning and enchanting village of Castril is a short drive away.

I have attended 2 yoga retreats at this stunning location in the heart of the Castríl Natural Park. With views stretching over the Badlands of The amazing Altiplano de Granada to the east, and westerly towards the Sierra Nevada, Cortijo El Corralón is backed by enormous dramatic rocky outcrops, populated by an impressive Griffon Vulture colony. The surrounding forests are filled with the scent of wild rosemary and thyme, and are home to ibex, wild boar, fallow deer, rabbits and countless other species. This truly is a nature lovers paradise, the only sound, the occasional screech of an eagle soaring overhead.
It's a perfect base from which to explore this region, with its white-washed mountain top villages, bustling local markets, beautiful hiking trails, wild swimming, waterfalls and fiestas, all set beneath the enormous Andalucían sky. From dense pine forests to breathtaking desert moon-scapes, this really is a fantastic place to spend a few days (or weeks!). The huge yoga studio is fabulous........large, light, airy and exudes a perfect sense of calm and tranquility. Great accommodation, great food and very lovely hosts, Alison & Julian. Can't wait to return.

Precioso lugar enclavado en pleno parque natural de la Sierra de Castril. Anfitriones muy amables y atentos, un lugar para desconectar y cargar pilas, con unas vistas impresionantes y magníficas instalaciones. Totalmente recomendable.

Un lugar increíblemente bonito! Es un cortijo hermoso lindando con el Parque Natural de la Sierra de Castril con vista sobre Sierra Nevada y el Cerro Jabalcon! Tiene espacio de alojamiento y una sala perfecta para actividades como danza, yoga, meditación o cursos de cualquier tipo. Es ideal para una escapada de fin de semana o retiro. Es mi sitio preferido actual en el Geoparque de Granada. Ven!

Hermoso paraje junto al parque natural de la sierra de Castril,luminoso espacio,totalmente rehabilitado donde disfrutar de paisajes y deliciosos momentos en plena naturaleza.
Cercano a bares ,restaurantes,tiendas ,gasolinera y mercados.
Ambiente relajado,buenos anfitriones,totalmente recomendable.....

Un lugar maravilloso, con unas vistas espectaculares. Todo muy cuidado y confortable.
Con una amplia sala para realizar encuentros.
El hospedador muy atento y encantador.
Desde luego un lugar para repetir.

Precioso paraje en el corazón de la Auténtica Andalucía. El cortijo el Corralon linda con el Parque Natural de Castril y su ubicación está a sólo unos minutos de restaurantes, tiendas, gasolinera y el pueblo de Castril. El cortijo el Corralon está al lado del santuario de buitres leonados y águilas reales en la risca!! Fuimos en bici, pescamos truchas en la piscifactoria, tomamos unas tapas deliciosas gratis con la bebida en los bares alrededor, hicimos excursiones familiares a lugares de excepcional belleza como a la Fuente de la Magdalena en el Parque. Una inmersión en la naturaleza inolvidable! Volveremos pronto!

Lugar idílico, situado en un paraje absolutamente precioso. Se encuentra ubicado en una zona con muchas cosas para ver y hacer o simplemente para desconectar en plena naturaleza. Sin duda, 100% recomendable!

Sin duda,este lugar me ha hecho desconectar de la rutina y además me ha aportado una tranquilidad muy reparadora para mí alma.

Una ubicación increíble, en plena naturaleza, y con unas vistas inmejorables. Solo a unos minutos de Castril. Me he sentido super agusto allí, repetiría, no le falta detalle, y todo en perfecto estado. Especial agradecimiento a lxs dueños por su amabilidad y buen trato. 100% recomendable!
