I was really craving some crispy apples after gorging myself in pintxo for lunch. I stumbled upon this place while trying to walk off lunch. I thought I was out of luck to find fruit on a Sunday since most markets are closed...but low and behold this place appeared. I love their cute window display.

The owner of the place was really nice despite me being American and didnt speak basque or spanish. I only went in to buy an apple, but he threw in some free plums for me. I've never seen these plums before so he was gesturing to me to try them...but told me by showing me I need to wash them first.

Muy muy buena frutería ! Insisto, muy buen producto y precios para todos los bosillos. Tratan el producto con mimo y selección. El hombre al frente (dueño?) podría ser menos arisco pero quizas el trabajo le convierta en un ser un poco más amargo de lo que seguramente es. El resto de personal encantador.
