Café Bar O'CRUCEIRO

This is where we had our early breakfast in Palas De Rei before we went for our walk to Arzua. The owner was doing everything by himself was very accommodating. The food was good and very affordable.

I love this place.

The couple who run it are my picture of Palas De Rei. The lady ran the food, he the bar and drinks.

We really enjoyed the homemade albondigas ensalada mixte and empanadas atun. (The Albariño at €1.50 could not have been better!)

Back for a pre-dinner drink in the bar, the only tourists in with the locals, we enjoyed two small tapas including a bowl of sardines, pan and onions each. Delicious! And fun!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place is the real deal.

After a long day of hiking you can find some tasty tapas here that come in generous portion sizes and at very fair prices. The owners are friendly and honest (the woman advised me that I am probably ordering too much and should order a bit less and then see if I am still hungry - I wasn't...)

Tomato salad, meatballs, and Spanish tortilla were amazing. Perfect way to end a long day on the Camino.

Came here on a Wednesday and they had meatballs (albóndigas). Don't skip em. Great price. Think they'll close between 4-6pm so the hours are wrong on here.

Fresh salad, tasy cheese, great empinada and chilled white wine nothing else we needed on our camino stop for lunch. Exceptional service, the owners were so friendly. I highly recommend, thank you so much 😊

Delicious tapas at simple local bar. Best tortilla, tomato salad and meatballs! Great value for money.

Very nice service, great food and absolutely worth going to if you're hungry and in the area. In particular, the tortilla they serve is fantastic. Overall, superbly satisfying especially if you're doing the camino de santiago.

Very locals vibe with great local everything: Arzua cheese, lacon, tomatoes. No menu del dia and not necessarily the most pilgrim/touristy but that’s why I loved it.

정말 친절한 할머님과 할아버지께서 운영하십니다. 음식을 친절히 다 설명해주시고, 주문을 받고 음식이 빠르게 나옵니다. 음식도 굉장히 맛있어서 행복했습니다. 현지 어르신들이 많이 오시는 곳 같아 정감이 가고, 마음이 편해집니다. 외국 사람들에 둘러쌓이지만, 온정이 느껴진달까요. 그러나 카드 계산이 안 되기 때문에 현금을 들고 가셔야 합니다!

Marian y Luis son una pareja encantadora,llegamos a Palas de Rei y no encontrábamos donde comer,pero ella nos lo arreglo de lo más bien.
No contentos con esto cenamos y desayunamos.
Albóndigas,tortilla,empanada,quesos,ensalada de tomate,sus tostadas,todo increíble,comida casera 100% recomendable.
Muy atentos como si fuese de allí de toda la vida

7시 넘어서부터는 동네 사람들로 가게 안이 꽉찬다
할머니께서 오늘의 메뉴로 추천해주신 토마토 미트볼은 고기 입자와 미트볼의 크기도 커서 씹는 맛도 좋다
아주 만족
그리고 믹스샐러드에 참치까지 얹어주셨는데 특별하지 않지만 이 역시 만족
먹는 중간 중간 맛이 어떤지 물어봐주시고 신경써주시는 모습이 인상적이었음
비바람 속에서 하루 종일 떨면서 걸었는데 저녁식사로 위로받음

Este sitio es increíble. La comida se hizo rápidamente y estaba deliciosa, y los empleados eran muy majos. Lo recomiendo mucho para los peregrinos!

주인 아주머니가 엄청 친절하시고 잘 챙겨주심.
오믈렛4.5€이랑 오늘의 메뉴(미트볼7€) 그리고 맥주 큰거 한 잔3€ 먹었는데 빵이랑 간이 딱 맞음(나는 원래 상당히 짜게먹는편이니 참고하시길 다른분들 입맛에는 짤 수 있음). 특히 미트볼이 너무 환상적으로 맛있었어서 허겁지겁 먹었다(그래서 사진도 잘 못 남김..). 최고였음..!

Cocina casera y riquísima. Perfecto para tapear, las raciones son correctas y la señora que cocina un encanto. Muy familiar. Las albóndigas y la tortilla estaban muy buenas.

Antes de probar la comida le dije a mi hermana que este sitio merecía 5 estrellas. La señora es de lo mejor que te puedes encontrar en el camino...suuuuuuper encantadora. Por si no fuera suficiente, la comida está genial. Recomiendo las albóndigas y la tortilla.
Da gusto encontrarse personas con un servicio tan bueno y tanta amabilidad después de estar todo el día trabajando

요리하시는 사장님도 친절하시구요. 특히 마리안씨가 너무 친절하세요.
숙소는 에어컨은 없지만 스페인 특성상 그리 덥지 않아서 괜찮고, 깨끗하게 청소되어 있어서 좋았어요.
식당은 타국이지만 한국에서 할머니집에서 먹는 느낌이 나요. 음식도 손맛이 나고, 양도 많구요. 마리안씨는 계속 필요한게 없는지 확인해주시구요.
만국공통 할머니 맘은 만국 공통인가봐요.
가슴 따뜻해지는 식사였습니다.

Sitio de comida de calidad, la dueña muy atenta en todo momento y con una gran amabilidad.
Recomendable la tortilla de patata y si tenéis suerte,las albóndigas......
Muy recomendable.

Ojo, cuando vas en el camino y te encuentras a tu madre o abuela... Que trato de Marian, increíble.
Bar de pueblo con la gente del pueblo, y te encuentras como en casa. Vaya tortilla 🫓, ya la quisiera Dabiz.... (Un crack). Que buen trato, escuchas las historias de la gente del pueblo, una delicia. UN INDISPENSABLE

La dueña fue una delicia. Nos aconsejo y sirvió la comida, super atenta por el tamaño de las raciones (que son enormes) y siempre intentando estar pendiente para lo que pudiera faltar. Los precios invatibles.

Sin duda una acierto.

Respecto al bar, el ambiente regular (señores del pueblo en la barra tirando cosas al suelo... Poco respetuosos)
