Camping la Chopera

Fantastic stay in this beautiful campsite. We received a warm welcome. The walks along the river are beautiful. We will definitely come back next year and stay longer. The restaurant is great value and the food is good. Locals also eat here, which is always a good indication of quality.

Wi-Fi terrible Nice bar and swimming area. Restaurant only opens at 20h00. Bit late if you’re travelling all day. Friendly reception guy. Nice big pitches.

Campsite is excellent. Pool and bar fantastic. Showers and facilities are really good. One night stop from Algarve to Caen and would really recommend it. Very friendly reception and good value at 20 Euros per night. Town is 2km away and has excellent supermarkets and tourist interest.

Excellent. Large pitches, loads of clean showers, toilets, sinks, clothes and fish washing facilities. Riverside walk. Food in On-site restaurant was ok. Highly recommend this site.

This is a lovely campsite. It is good value for money. The pool is very good with a well maintained grassy area around it. There is a very nice atmosphere here where everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Overall the campsite is well maintained and the toilets are clean. There are nice walks around the area and even nicer drives I would return if in the area.

This is a great little site in the heart if Spain. Originally planned as a one night stopover we stayed 7 nights.
The price is appropriately reasonable.
Carmen was particularly friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The site is shady and right next to a river. As we passed through in August it was the perfect oasis for the ultra high temperatures.
There are lots of grassy pitches and some quieter corners if you like peace.
The pool is large and surrounded by a huge grassy area.
The bar/restaurant has some bizarre rules and the whole thing needs a rethink.
Easy access to a petrol station, garage, huge Carrefour and of course the charming walled town of Plasencia. Visiting the cellar of the monastery is a must for wine lovers.

Very clean and spacious bathroom and washareas. Nice campsite used for 1 night whilst travelling to southern spain. Very helpful and friendly reception staff.

Facilities clean . Good size grass pitches. Location great for cycling into Plascencia.

What a hidden Gem this site is! Ideally situated next to the river. Great facilities and friendly staff. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Most of the park closed during off season but it was lovely. ☺

Very natural site among the trees

Fui en pleno diciembre y estaba prácticamente solo, los baños estaban limpios y la zona de las duchas estaba a 25 grados ¡qué gusto!. Hubiera echado en falta algo más de césped pero bueno por pedir que no quede jeje. Personal amable y hay unos gatos majísimos aunque pueden llegar a ser un poco pesados 😂

Sauberer Platz, sehr ruhig. Empfang sehr freundlich. Freie Platzwahl, alles funktioniert. Viele Einrichtungen erst ab Februar wieder geöffnet. Für uns mit WoMo top.

Llegamos al camping de casualidad , pues estábamos alojados en otro , pasamos a visitarlo y nos encantó al instante , al día siguiente allí estábamos. Nos quedamos 10 días .
Camping bonito, bien cuidado , la dueña muy amable en todo momento , una piscina con un prado verde y muy amplio con buenas zonas de sombra , sin duda es precioso , parcela amplia y con sombra natural abundante , no entiendo ciertas reseñas que leo aquí …. No tuvimos ningún problema de ruidos en ningún momento , ningún problema con el agua caliente/fría , estuvimos realmente muy cómodos , por ponerle un pero ? Los 6 amperios de las parcelas fueron insuficientes para encender nuestro aire acondicionado , pero se nos informó en tiempo y forma de límite eléctrico y aún así para allí fuimos y no nos arrepentimos !!! . Volveremos seguro en futuros viajes!!!

Camping muy tranquilo y familiar. Muy buena ubicación, la piscina está bastante bien y en el restaurante fueron muy atentos. Las parcelas para caravana amplías y el entorno con el río de 10. Los peques estuvieron muy a gusto, aunque no tienen servicio de actividades para niños, por las tardes organizan torneos de petanca y otros juegos que reúnen a gran parte del camping en muy buen rollo.

Nos encantó el sitio , muy amplio , Mucha sombra con césped, todo muy limpio y económico, por poner alguna pega quizá las duchas no me hacen gracia
