Café Piola

Cheap, tasty and no frills option for breakfast. We were a little confused by the ordering process but the lady at counter was able to explain everything to us in perfect English. Loved the self-serve concept + everything was clean and tidy considering the large number of people that come through!

Simple café but very nice for a typical and not expensive Spanish breakfast. You choose your bread and serve yourself with tomato, olive oil, jam, butter, etc. Then you can add some extras like avocado or ham.

Best place in Sevilla for breakfast. Also they have many other option for later.
You can select your items and breads for your breakfast. Pricing is very acceptable and relatively cheap.
Staff is lovely and helpful also speak English.
I highly recommend for breakfast.

Beautiful hidden gem of a breakfast place. My boyfriend still raves about this place, though we’ve been to so many cafés in Spain so far. The toast and toppings (you get to choose whatever you like) were generous, and the coffee was great. The staff were so friendly - and fluent in English. If I lived in Sevilla I’d be such a frequent customer!

Amazing place. We went to breakfast every single day , and it was honestly the best place we went in Sevilla , the personal is very kind , the food is simple and very good . It’s cozy ,comfortable, with a lot of space to be alone or with a group of friends. THANK you for your kindness and love during those three days ! All best

Amazing breakfast place where you can customize what you want to have. Beautifully designed interior and one of the best terraces in Alameda.
The staff is super friendly, and the self-service system truly works.

Only issue is they don’t let you use devices. Not even tablets! I was going to read on my ipad and I was invited to stop by the waiter :(

Best breakfast so far! Fresh tomato puree and manchego cheese on toast with a drizzle of garlic infused olive oil make for a perfect and authentic Spanish breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely outdoor seating area

Cafe Piola is a really nice place to have a breakfast and relax in the sun.

The principle is great. You select a kind of bread you want. They will roast it for you. And the supplements like ham cheese etc.

Then you have access to a list of free things like tomato puree or honey or olive oil to use with your bread.

I would definitely recommend to go for the ham and the cheese with their delicious orange juice.

There is something special to this place. We love it and keep coming back for breakfast. Tostadas are tastu and affordable.

Great breakfast here! Order your drinks and tostadas at the bar, and specify the bread type and the main ingredient (meat, cheese, avocado), and pay up front at the bar. Then they will call your name, and you grab your food and drinks and add any other toppings you want - we had the garlic olive oil and tomato.

My favourite café bar in Seville without a shadow of a doubt. Friendly and fast service (self service). Definitely go for breakfast here. I think it’s served until 2pm every day. Their happy hour is great value for money. Have a slice of cake here or a chocolate a la taza. Great people watching spot for the Alameda! Will be dreaming of their tomato rallado for many years to come!

We had been on the history walking tour at 11-1 on a Sunday. Then walked up to the Roman walls looking all the while for a bar where we could sit in a reasonably quiet place and have a drink and salad without being charged a high price. Everywhere heaving, no free tables, noisy. Then stumbled upon Piola, lovely salad, Sandwich Vegetal and a couple of drinks for €15. Sat by the Hercules pillars. Perfect. Self service works well, order and pay then you can leave when you want.

Amazing spot for a great and affordable Spanish breakfast! I was definitely unfamiliar with the menu and the people working there were so nice and patient in helping me order something. Can’t go wrong with the toast and the varied delicious toppings and spreads you are free to choose from to put on your bread. Highly recommended!

In love with this cafe/bar - visited multiple times a week when I lived in Seville. Possibly the best breakfast setting for tostadas due to their range of breads, condiments and ordering system. Super fast and easy (with options in English if you cannot speak Spanish). Turns into a lively bar at night. Plenty of seating both inside and out! Does incredibly tasty, plentiful and inexpensive food during the day - would recommend the bocadillos and cous-cous! Such a great, laid-back vibe to this place and cannot recommend enough.

I like having breakfast here! They always have a lot of people for breakfast, as their management is a little mess, it is a little bit slow to get your food. However I just like here!

The people who are working there are nice. They always have some art works decorated the wall.

Their coffee is nice. They also offer various teas!

Lovely place to have a tostada and the main point of that place is the very very strong the WiFi that makes it a perfect place to work

Great way to start your day in Beautiful Sevilla.
Staff were friendly and food was delicious.
They are also early birds so you can find the cafe open early in the morning while other places might be closed.
