I really loved all the food we ordered, everything was amazing, the beef, squid, hummus and paella ♥ 11/10 will come back but unfortunately it’s my last night in Spain, will definitely recommend it to my amigos!

Sangria was amazing too 😘 definitely worth ordering a jar!! Atmosphere and music was superb as well. The waiter was witty and helpful, the food was “sabroso” as one of the waiter would say :)

Came in due to the high review score and wasn’t disappointed.
Plenty of room on a Thursday afternoon to have some tapas and drinks.
Quick service and then was left to it to try what we’d ordered.
Cuban shredded beef was a standout.

A good place for lunch/dinner and drinks especially if you want to try something traditional like paella, which we really enjoyed! The food is fresh and tasty, we also got the calamari rings and those were one of the best i’ve had because the calamari was so tender and not rubbery at all, super fresh. The staff was a bit confussed so we waited a bit longer to order but overall it was truly lovely.

Fabulous shrimp with bombastic flavours. Octopus seasoning was on point, could've been a bit more tender. Dessert was yummy as well

Very good tapas restaurant in Madrid! I was on a business by myself and it is very nice that they serve half portion of the dish I wanna try! The risotto is a must try, which is so yummy. I also ordered Gambones al ajillo and Ropa vieja. Food was very good. Sangria a bit sweet, while if I come next time, I will order tinto de verano. Service is quite welcome. Overall a good try when you are in Madrid.

I went there for dinner in February 14th.
That was My first meal in Madrid and it did not disappoint! I started with the grilled octopus with potatoes. It came with 2 big tentacles - one was perfect and very soft - the other a little less soft (I thought it could have cooked a bit more) but the flavor was all there! Truly delicious- hence why I clear my bowl … and so good that I ordered a second dish: the paella - I wasn’t sure I was gonna finish it - but I did because of how flavorful it was!! Truly delicious ( I wouldn’t go as far as saying that it’s the best paella I’ve had) but it was definitely satisfying 👌🏾

Full transparency, I did feel some kind of way, when I noticed that the bartender was “offering” free pink shot to other guests (since it was Valentine’s Day) and did not offer me any :/ … but he came and ask how I liked the food and was apparently nice to me … just that I wondered why I wasn’t offered a complimentary pink shot like the other guests

The best paella I ever tried! The seafood was cooked so good, it was so soft and delicious! The atmosphere is nice, the service also great. I recommend the restaurant!

It is a busy place, so the waiter will not have enough time to serve you. In general food was good but the restaurant itself is very small and always busy.

We ordered Moussaka, Cod with goat cheese and honey, and Huevos Roto. All of them are really tasty. Food comes quickly. For drinks I had a cup of Sangria, which was pretty enormous for its price. Top!

Excellent place. Tasty food, good sized portions and affordable prices. The staff gave us some treats and made us feel very welcome. Tourist friendly place. Can't recommend it enough!

Diverse menu catering to all tastes! Our choice of fried aubergine, hummus, and seafood paella showcased their range. Starters were excellent, though the paella could use a touch more char. Quick service from attentive waiters made our dining experience delightful. Securing a table for two was easy, but leaving late, we noticed a queue forming outside—something to consider during peak hours.

Amazing place with wonderful dishes and a great service! We went there twice during our short stay in Madrid because it was totally worth it! Delicious octopus, prawns, paella and squid! Also sangria tastes really great there! And a free drink served after the meal was so tasty! A big credit to Emiliano, who was very inviting, kind and helpful! We liked everything about the place! This was likely the best meal we had in Madrid, especially for the fair price point! We started with Moussaka as our appetizer and I don’t think I could recommend it more. Truly to die for. The food was so good that we seemed to not be able to get a photo prior to eating it. I also want to give a big shoutout to the service. The bar tender was amazing and even gave us a small drink to sample while we were waiting for our food.

We ate here in April 2023 and our experience then was so good we decided to return; we were not disappointed! Food again delicious (the scallops were some of the best we’ve ever had) and our server Erik was friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Madrid!

Foods are excellent... Paella is the best we had eaten. Beef marinaded with apple sauce is unresistable, in fact, we were having it for both visits. We love the Tempura Salmon too, ve tasty. Emiliano Andres Erik is good in serving us and recomming dishes.

Definitely one of a personal fav Spanish restaurants in Madrid. Everything we had was superb! Grilled baby squids were so fresh and juicy, probably the best we’ve had in a while. The staffs are also super nice and friendly! - Highly recommended. Would love to try the dessert on the next visit!

Super welcoming and friendly, attentive service. We came in for an early dinner. We ordered grilled scallops (excellent), grilled squid (excellent), and grilled octopus (ok, a bit chewy). We also had the grilled sirloin with pablano peppers and potatoes, which was terrific and I'd highly recommend! Sangria was great, too.

Amazing lunch experience at Mas Al Sur: great service and food. Ordered the seafood paella and grilled squid with salad. The seafood tasted heavenly and everything was perfect seasoned. Reasonably priced meal and ~15 euros for food per person will get you quite full. Can’t wait to come back again

The only negative thing about this restaurant is that we found it on our last night in Madrid.
Everything we ate was delicious! I usually skip dessert but thank good my wife wanted to order cheese cake, it was the best I’ve ever had! Service was exceptionally good, this is how you do it guys😊!!! 6 out of 5!!!!!
