Very tasty and authentic Spanish food, with good variety. Suggest to try the fried squid and the roasted chicken. Service was excellent too and they were quick to serve the food. Highly recommended.

This restaurant may not have all the glitz and glamour of the others in the same area but the food is the star and the service is like family.

Our server is very welcoming, and not in the rehearsed way the others are to tourists. He gestures and speaks loudly and bluntly, but his demeanor and smiles are very warm. The menu is easy to understand, lots of photos.

We ordered the mixed paella and the octopus. The octopus is a must try! The taste of the fresh seafood is not over prepared so the octopus stands out as the star while all the other components compliment it to create an amazing dish. The paella is good, flavorful with the saffron expertly used. I am not used to rice cooked al dente, but it is the way, and the way is still delicious.

Even the complimentary potato salad was amazing. Simple, but we can't stop eating it.

He showed us all the dessert they have available and I chose the flan. It was absolutely delicious, not the stuff you see dressed up at other places, and made me believe that I got transported to grandma's kitchen.

You won't find any fancy, Instagram-able cute foods here. Instead you will be treated like family and eat like one too.

One of the very few places that allows customers to order one single portion of paella! Had a single portion of seafood paella and it’s a very generous portion and tastes so good. All the paella I had at expensive restaurants back in Australia has been a scam and I always didn’t like Paella until I tried one in Spain! 🤣🥲

Very nice restaurant in Madrid! They got low price choices, but also having lobster paella. Paella tastes perfect, with delicious seafood soup! Staff Mr Santiago is very helpful! Definitely will try again if coming to Madrid in future!

Great place for some tapas! And they have a great tortilla as well! Sangria… I loved! Maybe you have to wait a bit but it is worth! There is no problem if you are alone, the staff will get you a place. Mostly I believe locals are there. The menu is interesting and me as vegetation was able to find something for myself.

Incredible. Staff were so friendly! Ordered tapas for dinner after our flight in and it was so delicious. Tried the iberico jamon, squid, mussels, scrambled eggs, tripe, and more and every dish was very delicious and flavourful. It’s frequented by the locals since we seemed to be the only tourists in the resto and it’s very affordable. I’d suggest for tourists to come here to get a taste of the local food and atmosphere!

The restaurant is just perfect. The meal set is cheap. It only costs €16 per person and includes starter, main and dessert which definitely enough for a man. We ordered paella for the main and it tastes so good. And the staff (a curly haired woman) is so helpful and patient. Although we don’t speak Spanish, she tried her best to explain clearly.

The food was made with love I could taste. I highly recommend this place!! I've eaten in 3 Spanish restaurants here in Madrid and this is the best so far, I got very surprised.

Had an incredible dining experience at Valdemeso in Madrid! 👍 Exceptional service from our server, 😊 Santiago. We ordered the lunch special and the ox-tail. The food was beyond amazing – a true taste of traditional Spanish cuisine. The perfect blend of flavors, paired with 🍷 Spanish wine and a ☕ delightful coffee. Highly recommend this culinary gem!

Turned out to be my favorite place while in Madrid. Reminded me of my dad's favorite hang out while I was growing up. Good food, good service, reasonably priced and the atmosphere was very welcoming.
