Private rooms are great. Super comfortable bed, well designed and nice bathroom. Water pressure in the shower is a little low.

Do not expect a super social hostel environment. You’ll get a daily text telling you to come eat and drink in the common area but no one responds to any messages and there is no pub crawl or anything the least bit exciting lol Met two people over the four day stay in the kitchen area 😹

Breakfast is horribly boring and no change from day to day. Zero fresh fruit

Amazing location to visit Bilbao on foot, the staff is friendly and helpful, the common spaces are very well thought of and of great design. The rooms are clean and the shower was super big.

This is the best hostel I have ever been in my life. The staff is amazing, they really CARE about guests, they are lovely. I am celiac and forgot to tell them in advance, and when I arrived for the breakfast, they looked at gluten-free products they could have and prepared gluten-free bread and muffins for me. I did not expect this, but they did it! ♥ The infrastructure is awesome. They have laundry for guests. The design, decoration, temperature, and light control in the rooms and restrooms are excellent. You will feel in a great hotel, believe me! Stay here when in Bilbao!

I travel quite a bit and I just have to say that this is an absolutely fantastic location!! Friendly staff that is fluent in multiple languages, super clean facilities, good food and drinks (with specials!)…I’d give it 6/5 stars if it were possible.

I don't usually write accommodation reviews on here, but I felt like LaTroupe deserved one! The rooms were very clean and a good size, the beds were comfy and had little curtains which are great for privacy and darkness when you want to sleep. There is also a spacious kitchen and co-working space as well as a cafe/bar downstairs that does events daily (the karaoke night was very fun!). I also liked the laundry room where you could play your own music on the room's speaker. All the staff were so kind and helpful during my two weeks stay, always ready with a recommendation and a few friendly words!

Really great experience here. I had great roomies! The rooms are clean, safe, and located in the abando. So it’s near everything you need. This was the best hostel I’ve used in Spain.

We were surprised by the kind and hospitable service. Upon our arrival, we were surprised to learn that our luggage did not arrive.

Daniel, the front desk person worked with us to contact the delivery company, helped us write letters, in Spanish, and ensured until 9 pm that our luggages would be delivered the next day.

This kind of patient and caring service is rare.

We recommend LaTroupe La Granja 100%. We look forward to returning again!

Visited last week, was my first solo trip and this hostel played a big role in making me want to go on more solo trips. Cleanliness, comfort, service all top notch 💯

I stayed last week and it is like a 5 star hotel but different cause of the bed mates, but really is a fantastic hostel and i cant recommend it enough. Quiet beds, quiet rooms. Maybe different in peak, but for me, the best 10/10

They also organized fun group activities.

The customer service was excellent. Location is perfect, too, being close to the river, restaurants, and metro stop.

Honestly the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Rooms are cleaned daily and well equipped, beds are comfy, staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you’re helped, especially big kudos to Aitzi for going above and beyond 👌

Located just outside the station, close to metro, bus and Tram stops! Walkable distance to all main streets and places.

I stayed in a 6 bed dorm, spacious, screens on each bed, clean and comfy!

Good breakfast and various events in the evenings! Totally recommend it.

This Hostel is in a great location with lots of landmarks and old town near. Right next door to the train station and many many food and drink options from fast food to high end and many pinxos
