Hotel Colón Plaza

We came to Valladolid in a passage by train and did not find any where to put our luggage, but an ángel at the reception at the hotel Colón Plaza stored our luggage for a few hours so we could walk a round freely in the beautiful and amazing city of Valladolid. This Angels name Was Iris. We want to thank the hotel and Iris for your incredibile kindness, you're wonderful! We will come back to your hotel as guests ! This hotel was a lifesaver! Though we did not get a room here, we experienced the topnotch service here first-hand.

My group was in Valladolid for a day trip early this month and had planned to leave our luggage at a storage provider a few doors away from this hotel but shop was closed when we were there although we had booked a slot and paid! Totally stranded with our heavy luggage in the rain, we panicked and asked the hotel concierge more info about the shop (if they were going to be closed the whole day etc.). Instead, concierge OFFERED to store our luggage for the day out of goodwill! The porter in the hotel even HELPED to carry our luggage down (and up, when we returned to collect them a few hours later) the steps on their own accord. We were so touched by their kind gesture! We already enjoyed our trip in Spain but this experience made us love the country even more!

We will choose this hotel if we decide to stay in Valladolid for a few days next time! The hotel is also conveniently located a few min walk away from the train station and the main plaza. Definitely consider this hotel if you are still looking for accommodation ❤

I've been here twice over the past couple of years, visiting from London. I have been very happy with the accommodations. The bed and bedding is very comfortable. The bathroom is immaculate and pleasant. The windows, when closed, block out virtually any street noise. The staff are very helpful and it's a good location. I'll definitely be back when I visit Valladolid again.

We stayed for a couple of nights. Staff were very helpful and informative.
Our room was clean with a nice bathroom and ac.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice.
On-site parking was a short walk away in an underground car park but tight to manoeuvre if you have a large vehicle.
Overall a nice place to stay for a reasonable rate.

We enjoyed everything about Hotel Colon. Exceptionally helpful staff, lovely spacious and well designed room with a view over the plaza and beyond, close to the train station, good breakfast spread, close proximity to all the sites and to the tourist office from where the Tourist Bus departs. Highly recommended

Excellent location, minutes to walk from the train station and close to all sights and great areas to eat in. It is also opposite some tranquil gardens to walk in and along a nice boulevard with bars and restaurants. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Comfortable room, modern shower, and very clean. Our room was interior facing the fire escape, it was not noisy at all, but a little dark, if you wanted a different option it could be worth asking when you book.

On an aside Valladolid is a great city to visit, it has a lot to offer!

I stayed in this hotel more or less 10 days, and my experienced in this hotel was really nice. The room really clean and tidy, they have mini bar in the room. The bed really comfortable to sleep and also have a big TV. The receptionist really nice and friendly, the cleaning also good and they will change the tissue with the new one even you only use half of it, have good towel to dry well after shower. The restaurant also good, the food was not bad, I like the fish they prepared for me. They have parking close to the hotel, but you need to book before. Thx for the good service.

Amazing and safe experience! I loved my stay here. The hotel manager and everyone in the reception is so kind and receptive! They gave me the best room with a view of Monumento a Colón and what a joy to sit by the balcony every day in the evening and watch the city pass by. Cleanliness was top notch too! And it is in the perfect location, just 4 mins walk from the Station and you have got lots of places to eat. I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for everything.

By far the best hotel experience I've had in Spain. The location is great, hotel very modern, blazing fast wifi, good breakfast; but what really makes this hotel amazing is the staff, who are kind, gracious and work their best to make sure the guests come first. There was a power outage on the first night I checked in, which tripped the air-conditioning system, and my room got very hot. As the system didn't remedy itself, they went out their way to place me in a room where the A/C worked, which was an upgrade to a suite room at no extra cost. This action shows a level of professionalism and respect for guests not seen much these days. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Valladolid!

The hotel is a beautiful XIX century building which is renovated in a modern tastefully style, with big rooms, very clean and pleasant, across from a beautiful park. The receptionist was especially kind, helping us with the luggages and giving helpful information, which made the experience memorable.

Great hotel and well located. We were travelling as a group and had to get up early to leave and they went to the extra effort to make an early breakfast for us. The staff were all very kind.

This is the best Hotel stay in our 7 weeks trip to Portugal and Spain. All the staff went above and beyond to make us feel extremely comfortable. We are very grateful to the reception team, the restaurant team and the house keeping team. Clean and comfortable rooms with a lot of natural light. It was a plus that we were able to open the windows and have fresh air with beautiful views. The shower pressure was perfect. The A/C works flawlessly. The restaurant has a short list of dishes but everything we tried was delicious, cooked to perfection from the entrante to the postre and the wine list is very good. Thank you so much for all your kindness. We miss you a lot.

After having our flight from Bilbao cancelled, we arrived at the hotel from the Railway Station which is close by. We were tired and frustrated but the helpful young woman on reception was very kind to two older guests. We were soon in a clean, bright, pleasant room with a view over the park and we were able to get a good night’s sleep before continuing on our way. A refuge in our hour of need.

It's a very comfy and good located hotel. The personnel is really kind and helpfull. Breakfast was tasty and varied.

The location of this hotel is beautiful, overlooking the Acera de Recolestos, and close to a.large park. We were only there to break our journey but would have liked to stay longer had we had the time.
The rooms were very comfortable, clean and modern, and the bar was pleasant.We had an early start in the morning, so did not have breakfast. The main reason for my five stars was the outstanding level of care given by the staff. All were friendly and helpful.We do not speak Spanishand so, when we asked for hot chocolate in the bar, the bar staff went to fetch the receptionist who was able to translate for us. She went out of her way to make sure we understood everything and also that we had a wifi option which would work for us. The service was excellent, probably the best that we recieved on our travels.

Only 1 night on our way back from Portugal to France, very pleasant stop. The hotel is very nicely refurbished/decorated, rooms very comfortable, good welcome and very nice and good quality buffet breakfast. Central location to have a walking tour of the city and a parking and the train station in front of hotel if you come by car or by train.

We had a wonderful fortnights holiday at Hotel Colon Plaza in Valladolid. All of the staff were absolutely brilliant and so helpful. We will definitely be returning very soon.
