Amazing place! You pick from 4 different options for a 4 course meal. Everything was delicious for both the American and Spaniards in the family. The price is unbelievably cheap, especially for all you get.

But, so you know this isn’t a fake review, I didn’t love the cheesecake. The flan and custard were better dessert options.

Me Gusta Comer was an amazing find - an online map shows the town of Rionegro del Puente as having a church, a bakery, and this restaurant. Population appears to be in the ballpark of 260 people. The town is located on the Sanabres pilgrim's route, and I'd consider this restaurant to be a godsend.
We did not see a printed dinner menu here. The chef described each course, which had two options to choose from. Sensibly, my wife and I decided to each try something different from each other for each course, so we got to sample everything being served that night.
First course - either tuna cake or a creamy artichoke cloud, each served with a slice of eggplant, pate, and strawberry jam.
Second course - handmade pasta with both pesto and a tomato gravy, or a creamy squash soup.
Third course - chicken or delightfully garlicy albondigas (meatballs)
On the side - water, a carafe of wine, bread, and after dinner, coffee and steamed milk
Dessert - either cheesecake or flan (both served with ice cream encased in a magic shell - type structure.
Liqueurs - 3 options brought to the table - a cream liqueur, an herb variety, and a clear aguardiente for those who want to end the meal with a bang.
The cost of all this was less than what I would expect to tip on an equivalent meal in the U.S.
If you're headed to or from Galicia, or, like me, happen to be staying within driving distance, this is an experience not to be missed. This world class spot also appears to serve drinks on the patio, for pilgrims passing through that don't need a full meal.

Gem of the VDLP so far. A gastronomic experience where you feel the passion and dedication from the chef.
The meal, the wine, the service and friendless from all the team at Me Gusta Comer was great.
Not to be missed!
Lovely treatment for pilgrims, the restaurant was fully reserved but they made an effort to find us a table.
Highly recommend.

The best restaurant on the Camino. A MUST. 4 dishes, wine, coffee, liquor all made with creativity to the craft for 15€. Open kitchen, super ambitious environment went there 2 times on one day. Highly recommended.

I am not writing reviews often, but this place would deserve one! We stopped there for dinner without any special expectations, and it looked very ordinary small village restaurant, but their menu was really wonderful with different delicious dishes. Comida maravillosa! Muy agradable! Muchissimas gracias! :)

Just to repeat what others said - an almost required stop on the VDLP. Phenomenal dishes made with fresh ingredients. You really can’t go wrong here.

It is a very good place and very attentive owners. Definitely go there if you pass by. They have even cooked what wasn’t in the menu because I asked - pulpo. It was a bit too much garlic but still delicious. Well done for the care, guys!

Four tasty dishes, bottle of good wine and three kinds of orujo for 10 EUR are 100% worth of five stars

The best place I've ever eaten on the Camino (and I've done three)! The cook is funny and very amicable and makes sure to surprise you. The dishes are top stuff; you could easily encounter them in a haute cuisine restaurant for quadruple the price; 4 of these courses for a pilgrim price of 15eu is a ridiculous bargain. I had pastel de atún con foie, arándanos, tomates, aceite de basilico y crema de fresa; then sopa de garbanzos con calamares (his recipe); as a main cow tongue in carrot sauce and as dessert pear cooked in red wine with tarta helada. Plus wine, coffee and a chupito were included. Fingerlicking good!

Great meal in a lovely homely setting. Our Spanish was terrible and there was no menu but the owner serving us helped us through ordering a four course meal washed down with some lovely house wine and a selection of aperitif’s to finish things off. All for €15 a head. We would definitely go back for some low key local fare and great atmosphere.

A truly amazing pilgrim menu - hearty, generous, flavourful, and SO reasonably priced at 10 euros. The chef clearly derives great personal satisfaction from providing possibly the best pilgrim meal on all of the
Caminos.

When travelling on the nearby highway, make your pit stop over here. It's a one of a kind experience in a unique place. Deep in the heart of a very small town in Spain, someone enjoys cooking for you, and tries it's best to make you happy.

The food was delicious! We were spoilt with the pilgrims menu and after a 24 kilometre hike even better
